So at last Forero gets a decent position for the sprint... and still finds a way to miss the podium At least there's still a few more opportunities left.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! What a sprint by Awang, I knew he'd be up there if he could find the right wheel as he always seemed to be closing in previous stages. Big thanks to ONCE for the amazing leadout they gave him.
As the rider that partially inspired the team and one of my favourite riders seeing him win at home is definitely my favourite ManGame moment.

:D brilliant stuff from my sprinters again. If we can keep this up we might get another stage win and Guillen might get the points Jersey aswell. This could turn into an awesome race despite bad performance from my mt. Apartment besides from Arroyo.

Another flat stage, another so-so placement for Clavero. Still nice to see us in the break.

Good to see Verona trying his luck in the breakaway. Definitely good 'tv' time for the team. Nice to see Lobato in 18th indicating he at least tried in the sprint. And Fernandez overtaking Txurruka for 9th in GC thanks to his decent finish.

What's wrong with Uugunbayar? He could not have been better placed and still manages to drop out of the top 10. I already know who won't get a spot on Siam Cement's roster for the next season.
Other than that our young sprinter Suryadi beeing promising as finishing 20th. Peilun Wu climbed two spots in the GC for whatever reason. So it's not an bad day at all for Siam Cement despite Uugunbayar's obvious failure, but that's nothing new. |

Sprint-festival, sprint-festival! You managers should be quite happy with the sprinters finally scoring on consistent base every day

At last positioning and a good sprint are combined and it nearly paid off with a win.

95km and only 4min while Siam is controlling the peloton. So no sprinter team really or do they really think Uugunbayar can improve?
No not really, we did, but not anymore. It doesn't get better, today he wasn't even in the top 20. Also Poorseyedi dropped a spot in the GC, next stage must be better! |

So seems like Clavero's tour has been pretty consistently average, always sitting 10-15th wheel and sprinting to that position as well. Doesn't have the top end acceleration to overtake anyone, but we just came up against too strong a field.

God, the team's performances here and in San Luis made me so angry that I basically abandoned this site for two days to calm down ... The joys of the Man-Game, I guess
9th and 11th for Gajek is pretty decent, still I wish I had sent him to Argentina. And who knows, maybe a nice split or something drops a Top 5 rider ... then again, I don't want to achieve my goal like that ...
Spoiler Oh who am I kidding. Splits! Splits! Splits!

Rats! Txurruka moves down to 10th in GC thanks to the sprinting abilities of Delio Fernandez. Hopefully he won't lose anymore. |

I'm pretty sure the reason Awang wasn't in a good position for the sprint was because we had a breakaway rider that wasn't caught until late.
This PCM doesn't seem able to keep a sprinter up near the front for a team with a rider who is caught late as the same thing happened on an earlier flat stage when one of the Salleh's was in the break (I still haven't worked out which one of the 2 it was).

Verone finishing in the top 30 was quite unexpected. Fernandez finishing in front of Txurruka again which is good.
Same old same old. Breakaway caught and sprinters win. Hopefully we join a successful break on the final stage.
