Just a quick note to say that Middle East will be delayed until a slightly later point in the season.
The C2 stage race double header of San Luis and Langkawi will hopefully start on Monday/Tuesday, and so even if the Middle East stages are fixed by then, it doesn't make sense to be reporting 3 C2 stage races at the same time.

It has been quite a long time. But you better watch out for the continuation of this race soon. 
As small note: The gap due to the narrow road on stage 2 was not given and is deleted. Race will be continued with the 3rd stage soon.
So get the discussion started again. |

I was secretly hoping Herklotz could have a second try to keep yellow but yay, finally give me those stage win points for real
Stage 3 could well yield the same result as stage 2, but I guess I won't be able to call for more luck than we already had. If the game recognizes his good GC spot though, he should at least remain in the peloton on good positioning.

The team needs a couple of stage wins, Fernandez and Moinard look good for that, and a strong GC finish which Fernandez and Moinard should work together to get. And Fernandez needs to show his strong sprinting by not attacking when he is obviously going to be caught and then timing his sprint properly.

Errrrm. Well, I don't believe I cared about this race anyway. but with the string of PCT and PT races that have been going on lately it will be nice to have some reading material.

What is it with Jiriakov pretending he's a sprinter in this race? He did it last year and on stage 3 this year.
Pranata may have dropped out of the top 10 on GC but realistically he was only going to be there until the start of the mountains so it's not to big a loss as it should allow our GC guys to go for it without having to worry about protecting anyone who is abnormally high on GC.

Not good but not bad either. All my riders finishing in the main group and worst rider was 47th. But best rider being a domestique in 14th is not good enough. Delio Fernandez should really be doing better. Hoping for a couple of stage wins, a strong GC and a lot of attacking from the Orange.

Great to see this continue. That was the first time one of my riders won a mass sprint and of course a breakaway rider made it through. Also sucks that Peilun Wu gave up he was an important helper and could have had a shot at a good ranking in the U25 classification. |

Athanasiades? How on earth did he stay with the group? And why did Puusepp, the best Puncheur in this race, try to get in the break?
Anyway, say my guys in a few screenshots, makes me hope Vrecer is strong enough to fight for a top 10.

Good to see the ToTME has been brought back to life, thanks Roturn. Aggressive show by Masuda on stage 3 (as we've come to expect from him), hoping for more of the same on stage 4 both from him and team leader Ochoa Quintero. Expecting the first real GC sort out before the 'transition' stages. Lots of similar team leaders present, so need to maximise every opportunity!

Very important to get that s.t., basically in the same group as the 8th is a great effort, especially as Herklotz didn't seem to be around the front at the base of the climb.
Now for 3 sprint stages, where I do have a hope that Minard will feature. Actually, Lander would make a pretty decent leadout in this level of competition, but I doubt we're going to try that.
Alternatively, being in a break or two can't hurt if the tough early stages already took a bit out of the sprint team helpers.

A better stage there for the team. Good aggressive riding from Parra Bustamante but would like to see a few more attacks from Jeannesson and Fernandez though. Three in the top 15 of the GC isn't too bad and hopefully they will all move a bit higher.

seeing as we had 4 guys on the screenshot at the bottom of the climb I'm surprised we didn't place one of them slightly better there. Still Alizadeh has kept in touch so hopefully he can improve as the stages go on as he'll really struggle on the TT.

Well...okay stage 3, no big losses and Hatsuyama showing himself at the front.
Stage 4...Ospina showing the team colors, but seems like Raisin picked a bad time to have a bad day...so now he's nearly 3 minutes in arrears. Not looking too good, he needs a bounceback day somewhere as the TT won't be enough to pull the advantage back.
