Hmm, Modolo along with Shirota and Kwok in a group of their own 4 minutes down. Im hoping thats a crash and it isn't a case of my best sprinter on the hills somehow not being able to get over those hills.

Wow I am very impressed by Oss in this race, proving a real good luck charm for Gazelle.
This is quite typical of events like these over the years in Mangame lore I feel - a random fast finisher mixing it up with the more expected riders.

As a reporter and "side-viewer" in one hand, I really like how this race is going until now. We saw Oss and McEvoy winning on "flat" stages, which are more hilly than flat, and that's what I like. You can't really expect Thorsen or Ulanowski to win these stages, as their hill stats aren't that good. Luckily: Pan flat stage ≠"Flat" stage with many hills.
And no crashes yet valverde123. I would mention that in report, definitely. It's definitely this killing pace and bad positioning from some guys.

Although it disadvantages me with having the fastest sprinter but a weaker hill stat in Haussler, it is more realistic and better gameplay. Still very frustrating though |

Also, as a guy that played MUCH PCM this year, I have no idea how is the AI so weird for the others, as I never experienced these weird breakaway wins or so. It's probably because of ManGame stat-matrix. Anyways, I really enjoyed racing so far, hope you like the reports too.
Thanks Avin, tsmoha and whoever had few good words for my reports so far!

4th stage and definitely the one that changes the rankings most is out now!
Few things:
- Sorry if I forgot to mention one of your riders today or to show picture of him, it was really the race where almost everybody had it's own group at the end, so it was really, really hard to make this "short" report and to put it all in. I know that it may be unfair, but I am sorry, once again.
- Stage maker made absolutely no enviroment or buildings or trees and although my settings are max, it looks like I am playing on 0. This was just an info, it has nothing to do with me.
- Hope you like and enjoy the report, some teams definitely won't like the result, while some surely will. That's MG and cycling generally.

Hm, again a stage I don't know what exactly to think of, I feel the indifference will be present throughout the whole season as we don't seem to surprise neither by overperforming nor by dropping.
Looking good for a Top 15 which has to be the goal, closing the few seconds to the group ahead would've given Kelderman a decent chance to still get a Top 10. I hope stage 6 still gives him an opportunity to make that happen.
Oh, and Vogt at least performs as well as the puncheur domestiques now

2 in the Top 10 is nice! Zaini seemed a little weak but great job by Hatanaka.

Considering this was the hardest stage profile, I'm not exactly surprised that Vastaranta finished where he did *shrug* Oh well. Shaping up to be a so-so race for us, though there is time to change that.
I think a break will take stage 5 - can only hope that we are in it!
Thanks for the reports Admir

Not sure if i'm more disappointed or happy enough now It would be a pity to miss the podium even though Bobridge has been one of the most aggressive favorites here. On the other hand, it would be a nice result to finish as 4th. Though it feels wrong to finish behind Gautier
Most important is to avoid any drama now and maybe grab a nice stage result in the final hilly stage. Good to see Gerrans in the break, hoping for at least one more try in the next days. Jiao maybe to do slightly better than 25th would add some points.
Another entertaining race and report! This will hopefully become the best stage-race so far in the new season

really nice stage and even better report
McEvoy with a good result given his limitations, the possibility to reach the top10 are now almost a certainty and that was the goal from the start of the race.
Stage 5 is very identical to the previous which gives me some hope of seeing McEvoy achieve a good result again. But as Firefly21 said I think this will be for a break and I just hope to see one of my cyclists trying to be present

In a sprint there, Gautier was only ever going to finish second. I'd take 3rd overall, Kenya need the points more than we do. Shame Proni and Mandri dropped back but can't say I'm surprised. Curious to see what we can do on Stage 6, but Count must be a bit annoyed now. |

What the hell is going on with Dowsett?
One of the supposed race favourites, yet he has done absolutely nothing on the key stages for the second consecutive race...
Infact, fuck, he has the HIGHEST hill stat of anybody in this race. Ridiculous.
Even having a bad daily form, it makes no sense whatsoever. You don't have random fitness set on or something stupid like that admir?

I think it's due to their ACC not being high enough to follow attacks. Roy has 67, Dowsett has 71 while Bobridge has 80 and Ben Nasser and Gautier have 77. Then, PCM 13 AI kicks in and as most favourites have attacked the peloton doesn't bring them back. |

Seemed to me that the problem was that PCM decided they would not even try to attack.
A number of riders with worse ACC than Dowsett did go away.

While acceleration is actually doing something this year, it is still a minor stat and it doesn't have that big of effect you describe.
And even more, they dropped from the main peleton group which had Durbridge and others who missed the first attacks.

I don't think it's ACC here, as Dowsett is rated as a favorite anyway. It's strange to see him not with those moves, to say at least. Sometimes it's because of a co-leader in the team going on the attack, but that's not the case here, iirc... I think we all will have such crapy leaders-performances sometimes this year. But i totally get the frustration when guys like Dowsett don't even try - or whatever he does (not) do here so far.
