I was searching through and it turns out he's already in it! 6 potential I think.

Didn't expect that. Probably the wrong specialisation though, because he did do decent in all sorts of races I think

The specializations were all undefined (I think PCM just make random ones for undefined riders based on their stats at the times.
I set him to stage races.

Something about Gesink?
I'm not really in control of if the stages are made. I'd love for people to make them for the project, but I can't really do anything about it if they don't.
Speaking of Gesink, I'm not really sure what to do with him. Looking at his 2009 results he earns a 79 mtn for sure. he declines after that. If I set his age of decline to his early twenties he'll be completely tanked by 2011. But if I don't he will develop into the best, just like every DB until 2012, even with his potential edited to 5. Not really sure what I can do from here.
Albeit a few small changes to make, potentials, decline ages, and rider types are all done. I've edited PT stats bit and sent TheManxMissile the file to edit up the CT stats, so progress is being made.

Not even Gesink, just the route nearly passing my house
Gesink could've podiumed this Vuelta though, if he didn't (yeah  ) crash.
Gesink was one of the best riders in that Vuelta, until he crashed, if that helps.

Hello everyone.
So I've been working with the DB and it is currently in the hands of TMM for CT stats and recommendations.
What we were planning on doing is using an edited form of the 2009 expansion CDB. To start over would be a waste with this resource. However, it is not turning out to be that easy.
The game was much more different than we thought in 2009 and so a lot of sections of the CDB are vastly altered or completely missing when compared to a PCM 13 DB. For example, the column "DYN_Sponsor" does not exist which would cause issues in departments like jerseys where this is now used in PCM 13.
Therefore I am calling for anyway who can and is willing to help with converting the CDB to be compatible. You would have to add sections and all fields from a PCM 13 DB into the 2009 CDB. Partial completion of this would obviously help a lot if you don't want to do the entire thing.
If I don't get any help with this I will do it myself of course, as I probably have not done enough to warrant me being the "project leader" anyway, but it would certainly take more time, and I think it would be beneficial to have this be released sooner rather than days before PCM 14 comes out.

Nope.
Lluuiiggii has offered to convert the DB, and then I have to fill in values. once that is done we will reach alpha. We need a few more CT jerseys. Then we are done. This might be not be as good of a project as I had hoped, but it is still happening.

That is indeed good news. I was really hoping to be able to play with this DB a little before PCM 2014, and after not having played a PCM-career for a few months now.
I am probably going to play with the version where the potentials are embedded in what the cycling world expected back in 2009, in case you are still planning on doing to editions. I would like to race with the Saxo-team of that time. Win a few GT's with Andy, if I can. ;-)
Also, since I do not have PCM 2009, would you care to share some stats? It is, by no means, a demand, but it would definitely be nice.
