Sponsors confirm their commitment to the 2015 season
The teams main and secondary sponsors, Festina and Canal+ put their pen to the signature for the 2015 season earlier today, reassuring what most though was a formality. The team will stay intact for atleast another season. The sponsors highlighted the effort in the french races, and the talent within the team as the main reason for the signature.
Talking to the press the team manager concluded on the season so far, being reluctant to call it a succes, but also firmly noted that the team was so young that results should improve over time with the current setup. Shortly after he threw a bit of light on the teams future, and aim for the upcoming transfer season.

Great list awesome to read i'm sure some of these riders could be heading your way in the transfer season I wonder if Sicard could be availible again as I haven't seen ING manager post in a while |

I don't know if Rycadinho stays in the game, I haven't really given that much though when looking into riders. Also stuff like wages haven't been considered much, because it can change quite drastically...
But no matter if Rycadinho stays or not, Sicard in the PCT with a wage at MIN 1mio, seems like an utter waste, no matter how bad you want to keep him in the team.

Haig is my favorite rider here and irl, so...
Anyway, if there's any PT-managers, I'm open for any talks, Festina's manager is definitely amongst them

I'm happy to hear that
A lot of the riders in there are talents that isn't fully developped after this season, and that is basically because I really love that part of the game - Haig is one of the talents that isn't extremely strong, but still has a lot of potential, and I like working with those

Hmm, you can try to get that Czech duo, but you will have a strong oppositon to get that two riders for sure. Nice to see you would like to take both Nepos though.

Interesting...
Sicard is a dream signing for me, but would be a nightmare in terms of wages. Coppel isn't interesting to me, Alaphilippe is a good talent but not a priority and Bar is someone I'll definitely go after. As for Senechal and Daniel, can't see Senechal being sold and Daniel would be an expensive free agent when I'd have to loan him out - like Demare who I'm glad you've missed out
Petit and Gautier aren't going anywhere though. Roux, Kneisky, Viennet and Pinot are the only crossover there though which is good |

I didn't really fancy Demare. There are some of the better french riders I don't really want, oddly enough
I like Alaphilippe a lot IRL, that is why I want him here, but I know it's probably a bad move in terms of value for money. Senechal and Daniel are the only real chances to get a good french cobble rider, and I would like to have a good french rider in all terrains. I already have the upcoming GC, TT, Hill and SPR riders in my team (Some of them atleast), so I really need a cobbler aswell. I do have David, which is my preferred cobbler, but he isn't french. I know I can't have many of those riders I look for, but I hope I will be able to have a few. I'm not all to unhappy with selling the non-french riders in my team so I guess I do have a couple of interesting names.

Hehe I knew that would trigger a reaction
Yeah the Nepos are really cool, and as I need a cobbler, Alexandr would be my leader straight away, aswell as a pretty handy leadout rider, while Yevgeni would be the perfect domestique for my GC riders, aswell as taking on a few races for himself. The wages might be an issue though, I haven't checked that.

Sorry guys
I would've loved to see Daniel (and Bar and Declerq) in Festina or La Vie Claire next season if they indeed would become FA's, but sadly I'm back
And without going too far into detail yet (I will soon, don't worry), I don't see them leave for a standard offer either...
Also your lack of enthusiasm for Demare is appalling SotD, especially considering he rode for you this season with at least some success!

How do you know for what money he will be possibly shopped?

Nice to see Reis and Silvestre in that list, but will not be easy for me to drop my one and only talent of the team. But everything is possible and at the right time we will talk if you're still interested

At the end of the season we take a look at the talented core of our team, and more important the french/greek part of this. Here is the talent, and how they went on to progress through the season. We start of by looking a the french core of the team:
As you may have noticed, all the french talents in the team lack one more season to be fully developped, but they are ready to star in several races, and are a crucial part of the teams core in the future. Especially Pierre-Henri Lecuisinier, Clement Koretzky and Bryan Coquard are the stars of tomorrow, while Laurent Pichon and Yoann Paillot are both decent domestiques with the potential to pose a threat here and there themselves. Olivier Le Gac and Alexis Gougeard has shown some promise, but it is still to be seen whether or not they can make a real impact on the big scene. Being the youngest riders in the pool, however they still have room to improve.
On to the greek riders:
Georgos Tzortzakis recently managed a bronze medal at the B-Worlds, and is getting increasingly sharp around the edges. We will impose him with more responsibility next season, where we hope to see him get his first ever Pro Tour stagewin. Despite being 30 next year, we are ready to build the team around him for atleast a couple of seasons. Panagiotis Vlatos has made a huge improvement over the course of the season, and he will establish himself as the teams best timetriallist next season, despite being only 25. We have some expectations that he can build even further on his improvement, as we see muscular strength that only need a few more kilos on the back to significantly improve. As said a few seasons back, we have a firm belief that Vlatos can once become a world champion in his field, and we are still certain that this is a possibility.
On the mixed nationality we have a few riders also showing progress, these are:
Most notable is that Jens Keukeleire seems to be getting faster, while his topspeed is still lacking the ability to seriously pose a threat to the big guns. However, his ability to get past lumps and pavees might see him as a potent finisher in the selective terrains. We are still a bit up and down in whether he should be getting his own chances or if he should stay as a domestique for another season. Yuriy Vasyliv has improved quite drastically, and should be a very strong domestique for most of our GC riders, including Lecuisinier. He seems to have hit confidence in almost every terrain which will be important for our team. On another not, Tom David has shown great promise, also getting a top 10 in one of the cobbles races this season. We are confident that he can be a dangerous cobbled captain in a year or two, but for now he will stay as a domestique who can be used almost anywhere. In case we do not manage to find a cobbled leader we may see Tom David as the teams dedicated leader there. Finally our bolivian mountaingoat has climbed another level in terms of quality. He is now ready to attack the Pro Tour mountains to aim for the mountain jerseys. He is still a very unilateral guy, so we need to stay focused in order to really fulfil his talent.

I feel a bit sad now.
Seeing your 4.0 riders remind me a lot on my maxed riders.
79 Lecuisinier -> Olivier maxed
77 Koretzky/Pichon -> Villella maxed
79 Coquard -> Nizzolo/Krieger maxed
75 Le Gac/Gougeard -> Thurau maxed
78 Paillot -> Dumoulin maxed
75 Vasyliv -> Koep maxed
David -> Grand
Seems as if my riders finish as good PCT riders while yours all top out as immediate PT riders even untrained.
With Tzortzakis (even a bit old already) and Keukeleire you have two nice sprinters and already the next to come with Coquard.
Lecuisinier will surely get some results already but next year then he is big.
2016 will be scary with your team. |

Yeah agreed with roturn - you will have really exciting times next year and the next. I thought actually festina would be stronger this year but a combination of bad luck with Ricco and Spilak being not quite as good as I thought. It wasn't quite the year for Festina.
But great work on those talents - guess 2015 will be ensuring these guys are maxed but certainly no hardship with those types of stats they are punching already.

Nice gang of talents, Vasiliev would look good on my team (A)
Considering your liste earlier (dunno how I missed it), you would need a crazy bid for me to let Brandle or Zepuntke go :-p There's also some other riders on your list I might fight you for

Yeah Ricco crashing out of both the Giro and the Lombardia costed me almost 500 points, and Spilak seemed to perform -1 GC position in most of the races he was riding, although he did end up in the individual rankings top 10. The major problem for us (besides Ricco crashing) was that Guerao was utter crap. He scored 413 points this season, while he scored 1057 the season before that... So add those 1100-1500 points to our tally and we would have been around 5th, which was my target. I never thought I would do better than that seeing as more than half my team was only level 3...

Hehe. Yeah 2016 should be fun, although things can change quite a lot, as we all know...
I kinda like your talents aswell, although they lack the top stats, which some of my riders can get. Mine will be much more expensive though, and most of them will basically be helpers. I think I might train Koretzky once that is possible, though.

Well, you should be safe until 2016 when they are maxed.
I guess you plan to replace Ricco then with Lecuisinier as GT rider and Koretzky as main classic rider, so that you don`t need Ricco at all then. Spilak could still be there in case he is not already replaced then.
Coquard should be on a good price in 2016. Not expensive.
And all other riders shouldn`t be very expensive neither.
Your problem might be that after 2016 5-6 riders will get huge contracts due to their point scoring I guess. So in 2017 you might have to trade half of them, but this is big money to be spent on Lecuisinier, Coquard, Koretzky, David then.
I like my talents, too btw. Just not sure how I will improve from being PT/PCT hop on hop off team with them without a single good scorer without huge training.
