Santos Tour Down Under - Stage 6
Short, flat stage in Adelaide. Just gotta keep the floor clean and we should have the win.
Breakaway got away. What else is new?
You know, I really like this jersey. Maybe I'll keep it.
Anyway, the break was caught with 25 km to go and it was actually shaping out into a straight forward mass sprint.
3 trains popped up with 5 km to go. Belkin, Giant, and Trek all were up front with 3 rider trains. I tagged along on the Trek one just for the ride.
Sinkeldam surged ahead with his leadout with 1 km to go, and Veelers was in the perfect position. Luke Rowe tagged onto his wheel but didn't have much to come around. Belkin was still there but didn't have momentum, and Trek was slipping fast.
And as expected it was Veelers who pulled away for the win! Rowe, Markus, and Gavazzi fought for the podium spots.
But who cares?! Because I just won the first WT race of the season! What a way to kick off the year! Hopefully it will all be as successful as this race!

How come IAM are in TDU? I don't think they're WT just yet.
Great victory, but was expected. Maybe time to bump up the difficulty a bit, that win was far too easy |

Perhaps, but every time I play on Extreme I fail. I'd chalk it up to the extremely weak startlist.

We don't care, it's a one-rider story

And as such I have not been even mentioning the other aces. For other WT races I might give a mention and export the final results. Also Dan will mention it if a teammate wins something. But this was just too funny not to mention.

Vuelta a la Region de Murcia Preview
It's been a month since I last raced, so I can't say I;m in the best form. But this small classic is leading me into the heart of my season, and for that I can't wait! Also, the photo at the top of this post i likely not the actual logo for this race, but as I could not find an image of the actual one, this will do.
Some mountains in the middle and a short hill at the end. We brought a lot of manpower for a small race here, which hopefully will turn the team out for a win. Unfortunately, the team hasn't won anything since Down Under. Hopefully that can change.
As you can see, we put a lot on the table for it. here's the full squad.
| | Daniel Martin | | Leader | | | | Tom Danieslon | | Super Domestique | | | | Lachlan Morton | | Super Domestique | | | | Caleb Fairly | | Domestique | | | | Alex Howes | | Domestque | | | | Rohan Dennis | | Domestique | | | | Andre Cardoso | | Domestque |
However, there is stircit compeition here. Purito is here with Katusha, Kreuzinger with Saxo (Oops Tinkoff), and Horner for Lampre. Among others.
*** Rodriguez, Martin, Kreuzinger
** Horner, Mollema, Gesink, Schleck
* Brajkovic, Duarte, Kiryienka, L.L. Sanchez, Sancho (:P)
See you after the race! Wish me luck!

I am extremely confused as to why Fabian Wegmann doesn't show up in the post, since when i try to edit it he is already there.
