Another one to disappoint was BMC's Evans. The ex World Champion seems to fade into old age.
Hmmm, he's at least two stops past old age. I hope the nurse was waiting for him at the finish line.
No surprise to see Kim win but I guess Shaqif's appalling climbing ability let him down. I hope it doesn't affect Phinney too much, though Van Garderen shouldn't have a problem even if it does.

Hey, you best not be questioning my man-management skills. Look what happened in De Panne after a bit of criticism. Cadel needs to understand he's not good enough to just turn up and win anymore. The Giro podium is a certainty now.

Some quality report there, Ian. A pleasure to have you in this thread for the time-being. Gratz to North Korea's best propaganda machine in a long time as well as to Dennis and Rogers.

Continental Championship
Welcome to Day 2 of the Continental Championships. Yesterday, we saw a historic event, as Kim was the first North Korean to ever amount to anything, really.
Today we will see a battle between those from America. The favorites of the day are Phinney, Tuft, Amador, Van Garderen and Talansky.
Continental Championships -American Time Trial Event
Zabriskie was one of the first in the field and set the first time to beat.
But his time was erased completely only three minutes later, when early started Van Garderen set an incredible pace.
Belgian Team Quick Step set their hopes on McNutt, but it seems our young friend fell to the nut cracker today. Not a top time.
Canadian TT talent Tuft had an off day and couldn't threaten the top time, either.
Every neutral spectator was, of course, hoping for an underdog today. Maybe the loved Amador would beat the time from the BMC rider?
But it was no use. Van Garderen's time stood lonely at the top. The last one who had a chance to beat him, was team mate Phinney. BMC will celebrate either way.
BMC took the victory in a dominating manner! But what rider takes Gold and what rider Silver?

So, so close for Talansky.
But still, three fuys in the Top 10 is okay.
(And all our riders in the Top 15 is quite nice actually )
Congrats to BMC, great performance there.

WOW!
Tejay just laid the smackdown on Taylor.
And Lewis in sixth, we'll take that.

Ah, Ollfardh, the early bird catches the worm.
And Dippo, try all four riders in the top 11 (allow me to be smug just this once!)
By the way, exactly the same winning margin in both races so far. I suspect this race won't make headlines on the North Korean News though.

Surprised at Quintana in 10th - shows the field was very top heavy. Duggan and Riquelme anonymous as expected, but this wasn't really the race for us. Bring on the European road race!
