No idea, i hadn't even really thought much about getting it yet, though everywhere i saw it so far, it was 64,99 - 69,99. Might have to really think about it, i don't have much else to Play than PCM at the Moment.
Edit: You're right Amazon has it up for 50,00.

It's worth every penny.
I hope someone can help me here: I've been looking for the scuba diving gear for a while now. Has anyone found it yet? Or the submarine, because I believe you equip it automatically upon entering the submarine. Let me know where to find it if you have  |

so your using the opinion of (usually) one guy to think that a game is really good
Big budget doesn't automatically make a good game
Number of sales is also party baised as of time of release. there really aren't much good games released recently
I will admit it is a great gme of what I hear (mostly hear) but stating it is the best game ever, the gaming industry has been going on for too long to say that.
edit: as everybody has a "leaving PCM.daily" date set I have mine already. October 12th

1 guy? There have been a hundred of sites with a review, with I think 90% or so giving a 9,5+.
Some guy collected some of those marks, will post that list if I don't forget it...

Well, but in 2008, GTA IV was ahead of the rest as well. Nowadays, it wouldn't get a 8,5 I think. That proves how fast the gaming industry develops as well...
Also, the user ratings on the link you posted makes me cry.
8,0, but I mean guys with a review like:
COME TO PC, COME TO PC, COME TO PC and then rating 0/10.

100 sites = 100 guys in total making up scores
also everybody I know in real life doesn't care much about GTA V. even my brother on his school nobody talks about it.
I even would go as far as calling it overrated imo

And you can't call it overrated until you play it.
And 100 sites might be 300 guys making up scores.
If they all rate it 9 or higher and a lot of them rating it 10, then it can't really be bad.

I also waited half a day before playing.. Then i realized that i had no 8gb memory on my Xbox already gave up trying - it was about nine in the evening...
..and then i got my USB-stick for my computer a go! It worked. This stick used to be my PCM-files-backup, but i just couldn't resist removing all those files to make it work for the Xbox. Eat this, Cyanide

I was not interested in this version at all!... until yesterday...
My house mate got his copy and we spent some time playing it in the afternoon.... Shooting and combat pretty much ported from RDR... Storyline usual over the top mainstream games get these days... Decent graphics (found too many frame rate lags and glitches though) but great draw distance considering how much there is on screen...
Best parts are: The World Map (not it's size but the detail and variety in small areas)
The Driving (finally putting the emphasis back where it belongs, it's easy but fun)
Maturity (as in it is now a serious game. GTA IV had these random odd bits of dumb fun that clashed with the overall look and feel, V has done away with this and as a result the whole game is uplifted and crisper)
Worst parts are: Ported Combat (yes it's updated, but it's lackluster and poses less challenge than a wet paper bag)
Too Many Playable Characters (Gets hard to follow the story lines, leads to issue 3 in a moment, and was just unnecessary as each is slightly under developed and shallow)
The Map View (holy cow this sucks! Fog of war is awesome and encourages exploration, but the map is too cluttered, unless you are 90% zoomed in, which leads to missing Mission markers etc)
Summary: Return to form which has been missing since VC. Amazing world map. Simplicity leading to fun. But unchallengeable combat. Underdeveloped characters. UI that is unclear, especially the map.
8.5 or 9/10 (not perfect but is comfortably ahead of almost anything else currently around)
Now back to VC
