Wiggins, Henao, Uran, Suitsou, Knees, Puccio, Cataldo, Zandio, Pate.
Strong team as expected, Henao will play role of Froome here. 3 other very solid climbers. Knees is the perfect man for basically any role in the team. Pate is good engine to have. And Zandio who is another good domestique to have in a team.
Kireynka and Porte kept fresh for Tour.

Aru, Betancur, Kelderman, Chaves, Cattaneo, Majka are the candidates.
My money's on Betancur followed by Chaves, then Aru then Kelderman

Chaves I think will not ride, broke his collarbone, his form wouldn't be great at all coming in Giro.
Cattaneo? Would surprise me if he can even do Top 40 here.
I'd go for Aru if he was in different team. Betancur is indeed the favorite, and only one of those you listed as the team's leader at Giro.
Locatelli is my 'sneaky' bet though. He's going into race as team leader and showed good form at Trentino already.

Kelderman is actually one of the 'best' at doing so i.e. falling quite often :L On same level as Gesink I'd say, at least he was like that at U23 level.

Interesting that they made no changes to the pre-planned team Arvesen mentioned when commentating for Eurosport during AGR, I guess he's a reliable source . |

Daniel Benson pointed out an interesting contrast to the 2010 team that rode their debut Giro in 2010: Wiggins, Henderson, Cioni, Cummings, Barry, Hayman, Sutton, Possoni, Froome |

Wow! What a difference "marginal" gains makes... and buckets of cash to throw at riders

That team included the two best climbers in the last Tour de France. And they did shit. But, of course, they still hadn't signed Leinders to cure their saddle sores.

By my reckon Contador and Schleck were best climbers in 2009 Tour.. |
