Sounds like a smart move, cause even though I got a decent result in the stage with Girdlestone, I kept wondering why some of my better puncheurs (alongside others) was trapped and finished 70th-80th.
Hopefully we'll see another dramatic, but not that chaotic, race. |

I think this is more due to PCM12.
See Dowsett for Jaguar as 2nd leader or my puncheurs like Iglinski, Kunitski and Ruijgh. They just stop chasing after some time. |

Yeh, the most you can hope for is that your leader goes well.
But for the rest, at least they are more likely to ride according to their skill with no narrow roads in the way.

Yep seems fair enough to me. Even though Gautier did well it is sort of hollow when not everyone can ride to the best of their abilities. I would also like to see Cousin perform better than he did.

I will not comment the strange decision much, but i hope some disaster will not struck us (like Hoffman falling), as we nicely controlled the original playthrough of the stage and hold out two guns in top 20. Well, maybe Pakthusov will be even better?

It looks like a fair call, I am not sure whether this will benefit my riders as I think I finished about how I should have, but I did lose more time than expected. I think that stage 5 does have the potential to be a very good stage, and hopefully I can get lucky and do better than last time.

It's painful to lose a victory like that, but those narrow roads are devilish and I remember how it way too often ruined races last year.
I'll never forget a stage where Van Den Broeck lost everything because a random guy blocked him on the final mountain, so I sincerely hope that this will be the final time where we will face this problem!

I think it's a fair solution. I just hope now Ben Nasser now doesn't crash or just miserably fail, because while he was one of those caught in the splits, at least he was in position to fulfill one of our season goals.

I don`t like the new outcome very much.
Not so much because Bellis was obviously doing nothing. 6th overall still gives me some hope. Just hope he won`t lose time tomorrow...
But I hope Hoffman is losing a lot of time. (No offence Avin). I just want this race to be hilly enough to distance weaker hilly riders. And so I had hoped for bigger gaps tbh.
Tomorrows stage needs to distance the weaker riders and hopefully let Bellis ride more aggressive than today.
Sorry for Vespa...
Thanks for replaying the stage mb as well to SN for rebuilding the save game. It was unlucky for some (me included) but I think it was highly necessary.
Btw. I hate when PCM does this to the water carrier. At least Kunitski, Iglinski and also Olivier did quite well until the end.

Barrio with a total fail, at least Gil carried the team torch.

Quite the statement from Roche to win the same stage twice in a row under two totally different scenarios and it bodes really well for the many challenges that awaits him.
I doubt that he can win the race, but top 3 is more than good for us.
I feel sorry for Fenian, while I suspect that Flugel will take the GC since that kat. 1 climb in the final hilly stage will probably create some gaps.

Disappointing how the stage was ridden, it's ridiculous that Hoffman et al are still there. The top 5 is still possible though, so I'm confident that we can make it. And really feel bad for Vespa, terrible luck for Ginanni.

Well Acevedo looked strong throughout, and at one point I thought that break had a small chance of getting away, and even after they were caught he kept attacking, he then managed to lose 2 minutes which is very frustrating. Soler did well, the Cat 1 climb at the end of the next stage will suit him better so hopefully he can perform well and get in the top 10.

So why replay the stage, to get even more stupid results? We Metinvest obviously benefited from the replay, but it was completly useless imo (i know i am the only one who expressed this oppinion here, dont know if only one who thinks that). The large group including some very good punchers was dropped anyway and partly because of absence of narrow roads, the stage was not challenging enough for bad punchers like Hoffman who stayed at the front all the time. I have no much joy from unfair leader jersey.
Also Vespa has their race ruined, nice job. First playthrough had quite realistic results for hilly stage, second not so...

I liked the result with the narrow roads, then I have to love this result Better stage placing for both Flügel and Kessler, Flügel one place higher in the GC and Kessler same place. Also, considering that it is Hoffman leading Flügel should have a bigger chanse of overall win now (even though I believe Roche will take it)

I think it's after all it was fair to replay the race, whatever the outcome. I am happy that this time Boswell got into the break and is now leading the KoM Standings, hope he can maintain that lead until the end.

The reasons for the stage being replayed had been explained good enough to know, that narrow roads don't deserve to be a part of this stages. You may prefer the results of that first play, but the problem remains the same: the blocked riders on narrow roads tend to benefit the luck-factor too much. So this roads shouldn't be there anymore and therefore the replay wasn't useless.

Didn't really mind the narrow roads despite the fact that my leader lost several minutes because of them. Sometimes you win, sometimes you don't. I guess it could be seen as the ManGame's version of good/bad legs
I understand the reason for replaying, though, and obviously benefited from it with Schreurs taking 3rd and still with a chance of winning the race / moving into top 3. |

Narrow roads have no place in the ManGame, just a shame that the game AI decided to deliver a quite appalling performance with no favourites attacking on such a hilly stage.
