I've just been checking the race days per country on our CT calendar and it brings me to this:
, -16
- 13
- 9
, , , , - 8
- 7
,, - 6
, , - 5
, - 2
, - 1
Now checking just on the nationalities from all CT teams (not sponsors): only (Magners), (Sony Ericsson) and (Pervj) don't have one single day of races on their countries.
If we add the sponsors than these countries also lack race days: , , , .
In my opinion Spain could have some more days (maybe Mallorca), and Netherlands could also have some race.
Where to cut? I think one of these races could go and create space for more single day races.
Tour of Oman (6)
Tour of Qatar (6)
USA Pro Cycling Challenge (7)
Int. Osterreich -Rundfarhdt (8)
Tour de Qinghai Lake (8)
Le Tour de Langkawi (8)
Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey (8)
Tour of Britain (8)
Amgen Tour of California (8)
With no alternative British race, maybe Pro Cycling Challenge, because it's the only country with 2 big races!

I kinda agree about that... California should stay, it got quite a big reputation... Races like Wallonie can also disappear if you ask me, but well, that's me

USAPCC and Amgen shouldn't go anywhere. Then Langkawi or Qinghai Lake imo. |

I think the calendar is good the way it is now. At least every .HC course should be in, even though some are not very popular. |

There are no Irish, Swedish, Ukranian, Indian, Belarusian or Australian .1 or .2 races.
So thats those sorted.
Magners have ToB.
Sony have Glava
Pervyj have Slovenie and Zagreb
There are Australian and Dutch WT races so that those covered.
India is covered by Langkwai, Quinghai, Japan and Beijing as they are all Asian.
Spain also has 3 WT races.
How can you complain some sponsors wont have home races than try and cut the 2 biggest USA races and the only British race. Lots of US and UK sponsors around.

I know that there are no Indian races in the calendar but I think one would find that your average Indian person living in Mumbai would be a bit peeved to know that their most 'local' race in Langkawi was 3243km away so I don't think Langkawi etc can 'cover' India
EDIT: Oman is much closer than Langkawi so would only be about a week's boatride from Mumbai to Muscat

For me it's fine as it is, i was just looking at the stages and countries and reading what people was saying. Not complaining, since i have Algarve, i didn't even support the idea of Volta a Portugal.
But i have another suggestion:
- with Beijing on WT does China need another 8 days race on CT?
Spoiler Commercial needs in real cycling don't make sense here.
With those days we could have 2 smaller races. Or one 3/4 days and some other single day races.
And i say again: it's fine for me. |

And why this flag is named "Indonesia" on the forum shortcut?
Spoiler TMM okay, okay, okay |

Wild Card Applications
You can now PM me to apply for Wild Cards to WT races!
Title the PM - "Team Name" WC Applications
Use the following format for each race you're applying for...
Team Name: (team name)
Race: (race name)
Reason: (anything you feel will help your application)
Shouldn't we have a budget and application costs, before applying for races we can't afford? |

Ok, now to figure out how many race days I have left for WT races if I send 8 riders to some of the CT races |

Working on my schedules, just to confirm:
All GT are always 9 riders
WT is always 8 riders, except TDU which is 7
CT is always 6-8
correct or did I miss something?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.
