1st ranked rider in the world, now in the 2nd division.
Only in cycling such things can happen. Haha! |

Man, this is sad news... I hope they will get all the Wild Cards for Purito... Would be such a shame if a rider like him had to miss his target races (also, he is one of the most entertaining riders to watch) |

Some people saying that Katusha won't get a PCT status either. Shocking, just shocking.

What the... ?
Seriously, UCI? I'd really like to know how they're thinking...

Got to be an underlying reason for this?
If not I want to know what the UCI crackpots were smoking when they decided on this. |

But wait... Does that mean?... Yes it does!!! Argos - Shimano got a WT license!!! Wohooooo!
Spoiler Yes, I know, they might not fully deserve it, but I'm Dutch, so just let me be happy about this
Still, very strange that Katusha didn't recieve a license... Didn't see that coming...

if I get this right
Argos only got the WT license because the Katusha apply wasn't valid of something, that is stupid
Argos only got two important riders: Kittel and Degenkolb

Uhm, no.
Katusha was under review along with RadioShack and Movistar. Katusha apparently didn't meet UCI requirements, thus weren't granted a license.
That left another spot open for the four teams who hadn't qualified through the sporting criterion. |

No, if I understand it correctly, if Katusha was accepted, then Argos would still be in, but Saxo would be out...

There's no mention of that in the UCI press release. That's pure speculation. |

Can Rodriguez still leave the team and look for another one? |

Depends on the clauses in his contract. I guess he has a WT clause. |

Garmin wanted him I think, as long as they aren't at 30 riders, they could probably afford him too, but I think they might be at 30 riders.
I hope Movistar

If Schleck gets a ban, Radioshack comes to my mind...
