Martinez and Galta are of interest to me if available, however that depends on my team staying up. Great HQ by the way |

Martinez will definitely be available during the transfer season, although I have other plans for how Galta leaves the team. He could become available later on though, so we'll see.
Thanks as well, I try to put in as much effort as I can |

Tre Valle Varesine - 1.2
The next race for the team was the Italian semi-classic the Tre Valle Varesine. With a hilly profile, the race suited the puncheurs so we sent our best team for the hills. Chaoufi lead a strong team.
With him being one of the favourites, we helped to pace the peloton early on. As soon as the break was caught, the battle for the victory between the big riders could begin. Chaoufi was the first to place an attack, with 15 kilometres left!
That move was brought back though inside the final 10 kilometres. Despite this though, he managed to get into the decisive move, a group of six. This group sprinted for the victory, with Furdi continuing Gazelle's recent success.
Chaoufi finished 6th in the end, which is a decent result for the team in the end, after his earlier efforts. Khalilikhosroshani also scored us some points, finishing in 19th. Overall, another decent race for the team which keeps a steady flow of points coming in.

Some nice riders you're getting rid of. If I get a team I'll be sure to come here.

Obviously, Norwegian talent is always welcome in a Norwegian team
And with two of the very best African riders in Aker-MOT, I guess and hope we'll talk when it's time for that, FroomeDog99.
Interesting to see that you'll mainly aim for African riders for the next season. That' definitely sounds like a team that will be interesting to follow in the transfers. We could see some serious battles between your team, MTN-Qhubeka and probably Jaguar-Eritel for some of the talented African riders. |

I'd been thinking of a deal like this, so hopefully we can talk when the transfer season arrives. Impey in particular would be someone I'd love to have next year. |

I'm sure the Galta would love to continue to represent our team, as well as a proposal by Casimiro is almost certain

Casimiro will definitely be available for transfer in the window, and for relatively cheap so I'm sure a deal can be done there. As for Galta, I'll have to see the offer. I'm guessing that a few teams may want him |

Tour of Britain
We came to the Tour of Britain wanting a top-ten overall, and with this being a goal race we sent our strongest flat and hill squads, with Chaoufi and Schinker being our leaders. With a strong C1 field attending though we knew this goal wouldn't be easy.
Things started off well though, when in stage 1's sprint Schinker beat lots of strong Pro-Continental opposition to take 4th. A great way to start the race for him. However, behind, Chaoufi and the whole rest of the team got stuck behind a split, effectively ending the team's goal hopes.
From that point on the team really struggled, with Chaoufi getting caught up in a crash and failing to hang with the favourites. Schinker also started to struggle on the flat, so we had to rely on breakaways for results.
Brammeier did well to try and salvage something by getting involved in the King of the Mountains battles, and with a couple of breakaways managed to climb to fifth in the standings in this competition.
That was only a minor consolation after a horrific performance from the team here, and it was especially hard to take seeing it was goal race. The riders will want to move on quickly from this disappointment.
Ventoso took the general classification as well as the points jersey in the end, continuing Prio-Porto's good run of form at the moment with a dominant performance.
General Classification
1 | Francisco Ventoso | Prio - Porto | 34h03'51 | 2 | Michel Kreder | Swedbank-PEAB | + 47 | 3 | Francesco Gavazzi | Team UPC - Boehringer-Ingelheim | + 51 | 4 | Fabian Wegmann | Sram-Riboxx Cycling Team | + 1'19 | 5 | Andris Smirnovs | airBaltic - Endura | + 1'21 |
King of the Mountains
1 | Richard Cleaver | Jaguar - Eritel | 88 | 2 | Kenneth Vanbilsen | HTC Nieuwsblad | 69 | 3 | Aaron Gate | Team Cadbury - Schweppes | 54 | 4 | Bassirou Konte | Jaguar - Eritel | 44 | 5 | Matthew Brammeier | Kenya Airways - Barclays | 43 |

Tough luck in Britain. I've found it very difficult to compete in C1 races. Next season I'm try to basically only be at C2 events.

ToB was a real turmoil for your team. Some races you just want to forget. Especially when this sort of thing happens in a season goal...
But I wouldn't discount you from the promotion battle just yet. If you can at least maintain your rank till the end of the season there's the chance of enough PCT teams folding for you to promote. I hope Kenya Airways can overcome this obstacle

Yes, it is hard most of the time. Though I did get a massive haul from the Tropicale Amissa Bongo, so it is possible to do well. Weaker startlists and luck have to play into your hands though, so it is safer to to go with C2.
I like the variety though, so if we don't promote I think I'll still ask to be invited to a couple. Definitely learnt a few planning lessons this season.
@ Gustavovisky - Thanks, hopefully it doesn't scupper our plans too much You must have been satisfied by Ventoso's performance though, congrats on the win.
