Okay, Ma will indeed look good in your colors next year loving it, yet another great shirt for the ManGame! If there will be a shirt-contest (did read some rumors on Twitter) it's going to be one hell of a competition!

Season 2013 is over - part 3, Roster thoughts
There is one rule in cycling world, when coming to transfer period. Nothing is settled for sure. And that stands also for our roster and how it should and could be in 2014.
Metinvest is coming out of the great season in contarst to what was expected, but that does not mean changes are not needed. There are parts of the roster that need to be strengtened or rebuilded from scratch. One thing is clear, we have too many riders on the roster. Some of them were very short on race days and still were financial weight for our organisation.
We have some veterans and some stars that need special attention during transfers, but the core should be same. For our purposes and for other managers too, we categorized our roster, but nothing is final.
BIG question mark:
Jaroslav Popovych
Nolan Hoffman
Dont even ask sir:
Eduard Grosu
Marlen Zmorka
Andriy Vasylyuk
Vitaliy Popkov
Denys Karnulin
Volodymyr Dzhus - coming from loan
Anatoliy Sosnitskiy - coming from loan
Andrii Brataschcuk - coming from loan
Anatoliy Pakthusov
Oleksandr Grygorenko
Sergiy Lagkuti
Haijun Ma
Andrea Palini - looking for a PT loan most likely
Eros Capecchi
Giorgio Brambilla
Nicolae Tanovitchii - coming from loan
Stefan Petrovski - coming from loan
Should be renewed and used in 2014:
Mateusz Taciak
Jaroslaw Dabrowski
Living on the edge: - interest of other teams will decide
Tareq Esmaeli
David Vitoria
Eduardo Sepulveda
Peter Kusztor
Not being offered a contract:
Ruslan Grychenko
Oleksandr Sheydyk
Ryder Hesjedal
Sebastian Lang
Davide Martinelli
Ahmed Albourdainy
Ermin Van Wyk

Noted. Eduardo is looking like a great flat talent, but he is far from our focused region and it is hard for him to develop his talents in our team, with all that other youngters.

Well, he has ridden only one race as a stagiare if i remember that correctly. He looks very talented, but it is same case like with Sepulveda, not too much room for more talents in our ranks. But i am still not fully decided about his future.

Ma would have been very interesting. But I guess you and Oz would price me out of him, if you were to sell anyway |

Transfer targets - part1, Free agents
Transfer season 2013/2014 should be very hectic, so Metinvest decided to show other managers and whole cycling world a list of possible targets from ranks of free agents. List is not complete and not finalised, but is should give some idea.
Domenico Pozzovivo
One of the best stage racers in recently finished PCT season and big former opponent of our aging star Jaroslav Popovych. Coming from Italy, Domenico would be important for our focus and would lead the team in majority of races in 2014. Simply biggest target for Metinvest - Emirates from free agents pool and we will do anything to get him.
Tanel Kangert
One of the best all-arounders in the cycling field would be a well welcomed type to benefit depth of our team. Coming from one of the best PT set-ups in Pearl -Adidas, his experience could be a great factor too.
Dario Cataldo
Another italian climber in the spotlight. We like italian climbers at Metinvest - Emirates and Dario is one of the options to strengten our climbing division, which is hurt by high age now.
Mikayil Krasnoperov
Obvious target is obvious. We tried already last year to get his services, but this year it could become easier job, "thanks" to disbandment of his former Bitang team. We expect our friends at Team PrivatBank to be after him too. Maybe they will be more focused to bring better all-arounder in Ratiy though...
Hassen Ben Nasser
Together with Pozzo, this agressive tunisian puncher is one of the options to strengten our hilly department for 2014 season. We can offer him high contract and leadership in every single punchy race in calendar. We have tradition in supporting african stars, so this would be logical next step.
Luka Mezgec
Fast man from Slovenia is becoming free agent after disbandment of his former Sram team and we are ready to make a room for him in our sprinter department, which needs a bit polishing prior to next season.
Yauheni Hutarovich
Yauheni is another option to make our sprinter team stronger and we are big fans of this belarussian quick cyclist. Team Pivovarna Lasko is not here to support him next year, we will not make the same mistake and offer him a nice contract.

I already have several managers interested in Ermin van Wyk, so i will try to sign him on minimal wage and listen to the offers later. Of course he can be part of the package too.

After presenting the new Metinvest - Emirates jersey for 2014 few days ago, famous designer Fintas was working hard on our request of new frame for both road and TT bikes. As previously stated, we are switching to Bianchi bikes for next year, so that was a nice option to change the design to match our new jersey.
But enough talking. Here is the design! We would like to say oficial thank you to Fintas. We really admire his talents and dedication to the world of cycling. I hope you like it.
Here is our jersey, that was already presented. Just to give you the better picture of how our team will look like in 2014.

Awesome
The blue and yellow design should somewhat help you get over not having the real blue and yellow jersey

Great equipment, but it's the jersey I love the most here, I love the 'brightness' of the colours and obviously very cool it represents Ukrainian flag too. Should be one the classiest in the peleton for sure.
