Thanks Ian! Looking forward to San Remo. The sprinting competition at P-N isn't that good...

7th March 2011 - Paris-Nice
(Montfort-l'Amaury - Amilly)
Stage 2 will again be pan flat, with no real difficulties along the route. I will be in Yellow, and aiming for another win here!
8km: Yet another large break went away on stage 2. 12 riders in total, including Taylor Phinney (BMC), Murilo Fischer (Garmin) and Jacopo Guarnieri (Liquigas). To be honest, the breakway was made up by many secondary sprinters.
22km: A number of teams set themselves up at the front of the peleton, keeping to pace ticking over nicely.
34km: I sat near the front of the peleton, protected nicely by the other HTC guys. I was looking good in Yellow!
116km: France2 were providing some excellent tv courage of the race! Check out this shot from one of the helicopters!
161km: All was quiet on the route, as Lampre and Vacancsoleil helped closed down the gap. With 30km, and just 1'31" between the break and the peleton, Mathew Hayman (Sky) attacked. He was soon joined by Grégory Rast (RadioShack) Juan Antonio Flecha (Sky). Two Sky guys attacking? This must be a plan!
187km: The HTC guys stayed nice and calm. Tony led the charge, blasting to the front, taking over the pace setting from Lampre.
193km: Expert job again from the guys. Tony peeled off, leaving Bert to take over the work. He dropped off Bernie at the 3km mark, and with only Vacancsoleil being able to challenge our lead-out.
196km: But Feillu doesn't have enough! Victory number 2 coming my way! And there was no better feeling than doing it in Yellow!!

@IanButler: Excellent indeed! very happy!
@TimoCycling: Thanks a lot! Cav is nicely peaking ready for San Remo
@Sutty68: The aim is for 3 from 3 next stage 3 is looking very favourable for another sprint finish. Also helps that the competition isnt very strong in the sprints.
*******
Also, I hope that everyone can see the last picture ok. It didnt screenshot, so I had to take the one from the newspaper bit at the end, and it is much much smaller than the others.

Glad you like it. Im starting to experiment with some different shots for the reports, i.e. the heli shot and the finish line shot from the moto (sadly that one didn't screenshot properly :S)

I can barely make out a yellow jersey raising his arms, so that suffices |

Just to let you all know, I have a busy couple of days, visiting friends and going to see the Mighty Blackburn Rovers tonight, and then going to watch Liverpool tomorrow, so next update will most likely be Friday

@sutty68: the games were good thanks. disappointed with the Rovers results, especially after yesterday, but being on the kop as a neutral was great fun!
@Neillster: Yeah... 'Mighty' may have been the wrong choice of words...

Yep I am a Blackburn fan. Season Ticket holder for 10 years now. Sounds like you could be a Rovers fan as well Valverde...
