They are really earning money on Armada (maybe that will make PCM13 ways better than this version?)!
thats true
Or will make Cyanide even more lazy because no matter how s**t the game they produced, people will pay, pay and pay more no matter how good or bad the product is
It looks like PCM 12 is a good game, it isn't s**t, but the point is just emphasis.
And I don't see the money thing. If they wanted to iron few simple bugs like sponsors or create better matchmaking system for example - they would. Nothing to do with money.

i played 40 races online this week and manage to make around 7500 coins
i buy it today 1 pack gold with coins from results
not fun, must play 1 week to make 5.000 5 games per day or as i did, plyed 10 games per day, mostly flat stages because they are short and don't spend an hour
I won't be playing every hour of the day 24/7, therefore I have chosen to get gold riders so when I eventually play online, I actually have a chance of winning a stage. Though, that doesn't come without a storm of pre-teen frustations as a thunder cloud strikes you with golden slang expresssions like 'noob', 'lol' and 'omg'. I got told today by player, he called himself World Champion in PCM11 (he was very proud of it) - meaning you probably know the guy..? -, that I wasn't playing the game as I should. That I was a 'disrespected player' in the community of PCM.. Auch! - talk about a bad place to be! Being 'bad standing' amongst PCM-players! I better hide my IP-address, book airplane tickets and disappear for a while...
I got told that having bought a good team isn't fun - and obviously, he's right - he's knows what I find funny and how I would like to play my game that I've bought for my own money. I'm sure that 1 hour of playing in x1, watching riders go round and round and eventually ending up as 10th is absolutely thrilling.
Actually, though, don't quite think so.
I guess i'm a 'noob' then.
Bye.
No need for sarcasm. Everything they said is true.
You're serious ? Explain why it's true ?
Those guys were right dicks there. If you don't play the game and you want to enjoy it - buy cards for money. Its' your own choice. Those other guys shouldn't care, it's not their business what he did.
They should complain to Cyanide for creating shit match making system so it matches players with gold Vs bronze riders
Yeah, i agree it is fault of Cyanide, but for me who buys the packs for the real money is stupid moron, cant help myself.
And why? Because they support Cyanide in actions with which we were all fucked up when it replaced proper multiplayer. Cyanide is showing the middle finger to us and those who support them in this dont have my respect. But say that to children...
I am sure i will buyquot the Armada mode completly, unfortunately there wont be many of us probably, so we will be screwed up next year again. In the end we deserve that.

I agree, buying the cards will actually make Cyanide more lazy then before in my view, as no matter how bad/good Armada is - they still making money no matter what.
But there are poeple who really want to enjoy this game and don't have much time to do so - and so they buy packs. Calling them 'noobs' for that is harsh and unfriendly.
And also, those people that write those kinda of comments, they're childish too in those game convos. They bought the game, they wanted to enjoy it even more with packs. It's their money. No-one from those poeple in chats should get involved.

I agree with that. I would not call someone a noob online because of that, but what i think about them is clear.
I am against all micropayments and dlcs in games, that is what i dislike the most on modern games. There were times when games main purpose was fun, but i cant help myself in thinking that today with the new wave of gamers and stupid people, the main purpose is moneymaking (i get hat, but i am not happy with that, everything is about money now) and competing who has a bigger online penis ( microtransfers, special cards, unique in game content, achievements...).
So i think it is not about people who dont have time to have fun from PCM (these who like it much for many years will play enough games to improve their squad). For me it is those who want to win and show how good their squad is (how big their penis is) who buy the packs. And those who dont know the value of money yet...
And Alakagom sorry if my words offend you, but you are way too much politically correct to my liking. When someone is an idiot, it is not bad to call him so, if you know what i mean (just an example, not talking about you or anyone else here)...
i will catch stef and beat him,i will buy 350 cyans,so 11 gold packs will bring me 16 gold riders i believe or maybe more
but this thing ruins the whole thing
and don't exist a minitour posibility online
to keep a little fun and to earn a real win,you must play 1 race at friendly under some rules.like have just bronze riders or just silver or just gold.
after to put another rules,to have 2 climbers,2 sprinters,1 flat,1 puncher,1 tt,1 coblestone.each rider not have personaly stats more then...(you set here a limit for climber,sprinter....)
and make a contest like was here on pcm daily, accumulate the position of first 3 riders on 5 types of races:cobblestone, flat, hilly, montain and itt

They don't offend me I would never consider buying a pack anyway ( waste of money ) Saying so - I can see why some people buy them
The irony is also ( not in all cases obviously ) - those who were against buying cards and when they called other 'noobs' for buying those cards - will most likely buy them too later on So that's why I find it quite harsh to call someone a noob or idiot. However I agree with your views mostly though.

I'm having some problems connecting to Armada.
I tested it 3 days ago, and it worked fine. Then i installed Lassassino Realname Database and now it won't work.
(I have tried replacing the local and OfficialRelease back to the original without luck)
Today, i tried some stages in the Armada mode and was positively suprised; well, you have to go in breakaways and the (AI) pack doesn't chase, so that is really unrealistic. But if you are upfront, the final kilometres are always really interesting.
btw: all the teams except one with Vanendert and Rolland were of about equal strength with some silver riders (got some too since this morning with the gift of 650 coins). Sure, Cyanide has to adjust several issues (after 1 race, I still didn't get any coins this afternoon) and the money thing can be annoying, but the mode itself has some potential.
Obviously it depends if the host has active or inactive AI picked in the options. Sometimes it`s easy to build a 30min gap and sometimes the AI chases down everything. Not sure who is the host and if this is picked randomly in Armada.
I also have some fun with Armada although it`s quite annoying that it happens pretty often that you get kicked out of the game while playing the stage.
And that you can`t choose the stage you want to play...

oh, yes, I forgot to mention that. I really hate it. You can't even stop from connecting to the race after you see which stage you are going to ride. my best cobble rider has a stat below 70, very funny...

You know what is noob? not buying the gold packs, but buy it and then when you play you do a team atack tactic thats noob.
O and they should started with giving everybody at least 1 goldpack instead of a bronze pack.
At least you have a chance to compete against guys who want to wast there money on rider stats.
I dont know if that was ment as critism to me, but I maybe think so since the only time i have done a teamattack was the last round i played, right before u posted this.
Just for ur information. team - attacks is something i hate. and I have never done it before. This round however, the game was more laggy then ever before.. the first 90km i couldnt do anything as the riders were going back and forward.. so i just wated in peloton to see if things got better.
As soon as I got abit more control, i saw that allmost every other team had their strongest riders several minutes away in breakaways.. i started relaying with the entire team to try to take back some time, but noone helped.. after allmost bringing back the last breakaway I was just tired and angry of the lag, and that none of the other teams (which also had some great riders) didnt even botter helping out.. so thought to myself.. OK, be lazy.. and stay idling in peloton while i go relaying with my team 20 seconds ahead of the peloton.. thats why i took one 5 second team attack.
thats the only time ive done it.. im not a teamattack player as u will notice in other races we play eachother.
They have this great beer here in England, I really love it. Its called Pint.
you must use team attack if you have a weaker team,it's your only chance to put 1 or 2 bronze/silver riders in good positions
i used this tactic with bronze team and silver, almost all time and 1st in ranking and i maked aprox. 8.000 coins or maybe more
after you have stronger and stronger team, you don't bother with team attack
tommorow i will buy 11 packs of gold and 2 of silver,as i'll spend 30$
i gotted 2 gold from results and i will win even more easy the stages,i'll make 230 coins at least per each stage and buy gold pack from results of 20-25 races
with 20 gold riders i won't know to choose

And you said I was a cheater for buying packs earlier in this thread, don't be so quick to comment when you are going to do the same.
I would never use team attack, defeats the object of the game and makes the stage boring.
However I weirdly set a moderate pace at one time on a Cat 1 climb with 4 of my domestiques and they got a gap, only relay 78 aswell.
So my game is now freaking out...every time I try to play an armada stage the game loads up, then just goes crazy. Riders jumping around and different parts of the race, positions, commands, effort all going nuts, the commentary and the info text seem to be accurate, but I have no way of knowing, it looks like playing the game at 10,000,000x speed, and going back and forth between start and finish and middle and all over the place. Really killing me since I just want to finish one race and get enough points to buy a silver pack.
you still are a cheater,i firstly build my team and pretty decent team
i'm forced to buy because it's a huge gap between my team and team like you have
i must play like 10 ranking races per every day and be 1st or 2nd human to take at least 200 coins and just after few mounths i can have a team like yours
you or somebody else had wiggins, evans, contador, hesjedal, etc.
i'm forced to buy because i like to play online,i don't care about carrier mode.i cancelled my pre order to tdf 2012 on ps3 and i put half of that money in armada mode and half i'll keep for other game

How is it cheating?? it's not. I am using an option that is available to me, I only have 1 rider above 80 overall and that is Frank Schleck. I have seen and beaten stronger teams than mine.
I won't be putting anymore money into it, although I can easily afford to and get TDF for ps3, I played a few races with my bronze riders as I was unable t get packs straightaway.
