Still 3rd for Pozzovivo and still yet to even attempt anything remotely adventurous in this race. |

An absolutely outstanding performance from the team, and Alarcon finished it off with perfection. Great, just great!
Hopefully we can keep Alarcon safe, and catch dangerous breakaways on the coming stages. |

Still mad that Lövkvist lost unnecessary time in previous stages, feels like it destroyed the hole race for us. |

Solid performance from Caruso.
But just like viking90, I feel frustrated when thinking about that he could've been higher up the GC without those unnecessary time losses.

Finally, the D2 rider in the break. the tears of happines are understandable
Also great team job from Aker, Alarcon was super strong.

higher? 5th VDB and 4th Rujano were caught behind too & Pozzovivo with Valverde are another level

Not necessarily higher maybe, but at least a bit closer. Then we'd still have a chance on a Top 5.

Great result with Ruijgh. Was pretty much surprised to see him there as he was quite far behind 2km before the final climb. Then I saw him in a great position going uphill and when switched back from Agnoli to the peloton he even was first in there.
Congrats to Venchi. |

Ou est Simon Gaywood?
(Stolen from Cycle Sport Magazine - original version: Ou est Maxime Bouet?) |

Two flat stages to go, and the time trial. Hopefully the team can keep it this way, not putting Alarcon's yellow jersey at risk, then he should be able to defend it in the time trial, but I really don't have a clue how much time he'll loose on 26 kilometers of flat riding |

Agnoli
Great to get a stage victory out of a race that until now has been quite dissapointing.

Works a bit better with a French rider

Another good report, roturn.
Happy to see Alarcon safe in the rain. Now is the moment of truth though, hopefully he can defend in the ride against the clock.
Congratulations to Bianchi aswell, must be some kind of comfort after Lloret's disappointing stage on Grossglockner. |

Nice reports, roturn.
Must say I'm not enjoying this race though. Hilly stages have not really been hilly, and that last stage on the flat was typical of the useless AI.
You have a sprinter or a high GC rider and your team are just not interested in getting in the break or chasing it down...happens way too often. |

9th for Gaywood, only beaten by Valverde - who is earning 9/10 times more than him. Nice. |

Really great sprint by Gaywood, pity that there was a break ahead
