Did you know, Ruben is a world Famous Mountain Biker?
He certainly is, with 65 votes for the best MTB of 2005
I've heard of that, yes, but what I found had nothing to do with MTB... |

@Spilak23: I better had waited for the bunch-sprint with Davis But Lloyd's attack and Haussler's counter looked strong. If Bobridge would have been in the pack, too, we would have tried to counter with him and not Davis..
And thanks: Glad you like the Pic of the day! It's for the people, who still prefer this single-pics-reports
@dienbald: Thanks for your support!
The ITT-report will be online later this day! Stay tuned.

Too bad Davis tired out. Still a nice result though.

Too bad that Davis was too tired from his earlier attack.. And Haussler can thank his team mates for keeping the whole race together ! |

Thank you, Pelli2 and vangerner! Davis tired out, my fault He did well in the sprint though, yes, but we could have achieved more with Bobridge not crashing.. and again, glad you like the pic of the day

It's funny how Matthews is a rather weak sprinter but developed in such an extraordinary time trialist.
I really like the story so far (of course I didn't expect anything else ) and I'm sure the results will be corresponding soon!

Same thing happens with Kittel sometimes, gets high values at time-trial, and then average ones in sprint.
Positive start, with a top-10. Bobridge did his best, that's for sure. |

Well until his last year U23 rider, he was always a better time triallist than a sprinter, and he had to work for Degenkolb in the sprints.
At Skil however they did some tests and they said Kittel should focus on his sprint and they made him a train with Veelers as last man. And there he really discovered he's more of a sprinter.
So it's not all that weird, you can never guess how a rider develops. Jurgen vandenbroeck was world champion ITT at the juniors, and now he is far better as a climber, and only has a very average ITT |

Prime example: in espoirs Boonen used to be a leadout man for Jurgen Van Loocke
EDIT: As for Matthews the only sprints he's good in are uphill sprints. In a flat sprint, don't expect him to ever be great.
But of course you can't make that distinction in PCM, which means it's impossible to give him realistic stats

Plus the fact, that I've started this career with a 2010-DB.. so, like Ruben mentioned, Kittel (for example) was better known as an ITT-specialist.
@cunego59: Thanks! Glad you like it! I still have to get used to PCM11, so you better don't expect too much wins early in the season
@laidbackmarc: Yeah, your shirts have been prominent in Australian NCs
@FreitasPCM: Bobridge did his best, yes. He has been a Top-3-favourite though.. but.. well, you may remember that I suck in PCM-TTs
