Great battle between the top-favourites! Valverde definitely proved to be the deserved winner (if nothing happens in final stage  ). Congrats!

Ugh ... when will Rodas ever learn that Colorado is a better climber than him ... I will take 9th overall but if the whole team would have worked for Colorado we could have got a better result.

I have to admit I hoped to be in the breakaway, when that didn't happen, there wasn't much to look for for my team, but it was a good fight from Larsson, climbing to 15th overall, after the horrible first mountain stage.
And Valverde starts to make good use of his race days, well done! |

Too bad we didn't get that stage win, but at least did VDB manage to end as fourth and without that stupid timeloss would he probably had beaten Ratiy for second.
I hope this is the only race where luck isn't on our side and I'm sure the team will bounce back in Mallorca, where Roche will make his season debut!
Congratulations to Valverde and his manager, though I'm still bitter over "that" accident on stage 2

Two stage wins, 5th in GC. Can't really complain about anything other than getting a tie in points competition.
I demand that Valverde cheated and should get a one point penalty. There is no way any riders can win with Waghlon as manager!

A good points haul for us, but not quite as much as we wanted. A stage win would have been nice, as Haedo's schedule only offers a sprint opportunity in every 3rd or 4th day of racing. Getting stage wins is really Haedo's only job this season, and to miss 3 opportunities so narrowly is a bit disapointing.

As the first HC Stage Race of the season, the Tour de San Luis was always likely to make its presence known on the rankings. Rapha Condor slip to 5th as the new Top 4 teams all participated here, and it is VolksWagen - Siemens who storm to the top of the table, their 335 points bettering Proximus-Trek's 302 as the top scoring team in the race.
Proximus' tally sees them up 17 places to 12th, and the next 2 best scoring teams in the race have moved into the Top 20: California Giant and WWE. With Cyclebox also entering the Top 10 thanks solely to Trent Lowe. Further down, Pirelli and Ferrari have both gained 6 places and move into the Top 20.

I guess my HC race plan is just awful, also decided to not take the Cyclothons.. I actually wanted Rabon to be the leader at the 2nd race but after Bennati won it.. it's like "prevented a fault" but also "too dumb.. could have been good for Ciolek"

Who would have thought Rodas would be in the top 10 individual rankings at this point in the season, and I still can believe the team is in 7th without Anton even riding a race yet. Great start to the season
