81 is fine for him imo. His climbing skills is equal to Samuel Sánchez I think.
And he isn't as good as Anton in my opinion.
Let's hope we find out next Vuelta! |

+1
Gilbert doesn't try to get out far from the end as much as Voeckler, I would say
Voeckler 85 or 84
Gilbert 83
And yes, Offredo, Pinot, Geniez, Roux and Gallopin are the best french hopes (Rolland doesn't count as a hope ^^), Remember Offredo at Milan San Remo in the last two years...
They definatly deserve more
Team Europcar !!
RIP Wouter

My opinion:
83:
Contador
82:
Andy Schleck
81:
Samuel Sanchez
Igor Anton
Ivan Basso
Cadel Evans (high stats in rec, rep and sta)
Fränk Schleck
80:

Joaquin Rodirguez
Nibali
Scarponi
Rujano (low other stats)
79:
Cunego

Gadret
Danielson
Klöden
Gadret
77:
Rolland
Voeckler
Gadret
Geisnk and JDV is overrated i think. Haven't show that good climberskills - yet.
VDB is a much better climber then Samuel Sanchez, in this tour, VDB would be able to follow the top climbers, sanchez needed to let them go a few times. He won a stage because he wasnt a treat for the GC

You can't be sure of that. We never saw VDB in the mountains this year, so you can't say that he would have been better than Sánchez.

You still can't be sure until we see Sánchez and VDB against each other in a mountain stage.

went through the entire database quickly using the editor.
My remarks:
Bart De Clercq (winner of the short Giro-stage as a neo - OLO) has way too low potential
Same for Van Keirsbulck (QST): especially his 'plain' should be higher. Has been pulling some packs in the spring allready
imo Rory sutherland (UHC) is a slightly better climber (TOC)
Navardauskas (GRM) did quite well this tour
Marco Marcato (VCD) should be a higher barroudeur and plain rider (possibly better sprinter too)
Rob Goris indeed is way to heavy when the road is rising, but in virtually all spring classics he was in the escape, holding on for very very long. In ToTurkey he also leaded the pack quite often as a very powerful chaser => higher cobble and plain, no higher endurance
Roberto Ferrari (Androni Gioc) is a very good sprinter, especially when its kind of uphill (giro results)
Gaetan Bille (Wal-Bxl) is considered one of the greatest Belgian talents!!!!! Quite some wins allready this season (Zellik-Galmaarden and some stages in other small tours) imo he should be upgraded as a talent for the cobbled classics
Wilfried Cretskens (free agent) signed a contract with Donckers koffie
C. Brandt and M. Elijzen (free agents) are both retired
If David Piva (free agent) is Valerio's son, and he indeed rides for Belgium, I would believe he should be considered as coming from Vlaanderen and not Wallonia (region 402 instead of 401)

All the polish guys says their riders are better than what the DB says, and the Norwegian guys want Cav to have LOWER than 60 in MO?! Seriosly, he's at least 60, I would say 64.
haha that why he finished 2 times too late? he cant climb get it !
also i dont think anton is the 2nd best climber he was barley 19 th in giro he is with thebest of the world i should give him 80-81 max not more
Are you serious?!
He came in in the grupetto with over 80 riders. In grand tours, that's what you do to save wasting unnecessary energy. You go as slow as you can whilst finishing inside (or in this case, JUST outside) the time limit and have as many people as possible taking turns on the front to save everyone's energy. Gilbert, Boasson Hagen etc. were all in that same group so should they be MO 55 aswell?
I hate people that hate Cav for no reason. Seriously, you're just jealous.
i dont hate cavendish but he just doenst deserve 64 lol he isnt a good climber for sure also galimzyanov has way to high mo
also the rule of 20 % out of time is bulshit ! oh tommorow there i can win lets just get in the grupetto and finish 10 minutes out of time -.- while a guy like hoogerland had to struggle to be in the time limit ...
and why the fuck would i be jealous ?
and i didnt say 55 ? did i ? 58-59 would be good enought to finish in the stage |

WTf Wtf her skils? it is for sure a him
he was really good this year couldhave been 3th
also dont expect alot from him in the vuelta ...
he already had his best form and also has to recover from his injury so 1month to get back to a good form and recover from an injury is not easy we will see |

I love the db guys! thanks you so much! The only thing I dont like, is that Thor Hushovd only has 72 in TT. He has actually been world champion in TT, the reason he doesn't show his skills in real life, is that he dont want to use up his power, because he aims to win the regular stages But love the db! |

hi
ive searched the whole board for it,but without success
can anyone explain how I can fix the spanish rider bug at the DB by myself?
I edited a lot and started a new carreer, so it would be more than an hour of work for me again, so I hope anyone can help... |

thanks for your help, but you didnt get my point
I dont want a new cdb, because in this case I have to edit the ratings again...I am asking for a possibility to fix it by myself.
I guess I have to delete a line in the fast editor (mos def to delete that riders take place in the Tour de l'Ain race) or in lachis editor but I cannot find that line and thats my problem |

You want realistic results, and if Hushovd has sky-high TT stats, then he suddenly can win some TT's, which, as you say yourself, he don't ride for in real life. The results won't be realistic. The main point is that you can't base the stats on results for 10 ++ years ago. Remember Hushovd was also one of the best sprinters before, and pretty bad in the hilly stages. Another example: Arvesen beat Freire in U23 WC. Should he then have 78-80 in sprinting stat? |

Geisnk and JDV is overrated i think. Haven't show that good climberskills - yet.
Where's Wiggins? He has completely changed his figure to become a climber for this years tour and I think he would have been in contention for a top 5 place in this years tour if he hadn't crashed out i think he deserves approximately 79 in mountain
Last year evans had a lousy tour, so now gesink has a lousy tour and you think he is overrated ? gesink is 1 of the best climbers. Better then basso and ffrenk shleck.
Unfortunally he felt (gesink), but still he should be 1 of the best. Andy also collapsed, he finished far behind rolland lost 2 minutes when cadel started to make pace, now he should have 77 climbing ? Other races this year his climbing was not great also.
To be honest 4 the game its no fun at all to give conta 83 climbing, it makes him unbeatable. If you play single races 4 sure because his form is also always over 92 |
