And i was going to forfeit a game i like to play, just because i got late (and it's not even late, because SN said at most Thursday) for the first time in 3/4 seasons? I really don't think so. I just think you are overreacting for something that really doesn't have any meaning. If it was a guy that often gets late with deadlines, you would have all the reason in the world, in this case, you don't.
And (sorry, because i can't edit my post), the deadline was 1 week, wich equals 7 days (at least in my calendar), when actually only past 6 since he posted the rules to team goals.
Btw, I think for next year that it could be fun if someone other than the team managers set the goals (not necessarily SN), but they could be based on managers after each season setting 3 things, sponsors nationality, team focus and difficulty of sponsor goals (from 1-5 maybe), and then someone (an admin, team of reporters, for hell's sake I could even help with that) set their goals for them. Then it would (for me atleast) be more of a feeling that you get your goals from a sponsor ;-)
In future, when i bold something in the post. Please pay attention to that - dont look at it, ignore it, and decide to do it at the last minute instead. Its just that in this instance, too many left it this late, or still havent done it at all - and If I was going to get it all ready in such a short period of time, thats too many.
If 1 or 2 teams had yet to still do it fine, but when its at least 5 teams - and 3 of those are ProTour - well thats killing any hopes of a fast progression to the game. Goals neednt take too long so it wasnt really much to ask - I would assume that if youve thought about the ManGame at all since season finished, it would be about plans for the next season.
This time last week, I was willing to really work hard on this from this Wednesday to Sunday to get everything done - when I perhaps ought to be doing other things. Now, Ill be doing other things and look to slowly set up renewals over next week, rather than next week being week 1 of the transfer season.

Well what really bothers me is that we only just asked around which people wanted to continue, had the time to and which new managers wanted in. The first task they are assigned they fuck up, from lack of time or interest. That is holding up something like 50 people in the progress, and imo deserves to get a kick in the ass.
I would definately be pro some sort of disbanding teams who haven't done their job in due time. If it says a week then obviously we can't kick anyone out before that but at EXACTLY one weeks time we just kick out everyone who haven't done them. - Or atleast those who haven't responded. I think all managers who played this game for a year or more, have had a time where the Game had to come in second priority, but there's atleast 20 people inhere who would be very willing to help out (Myself included), to get it all worked out in a decent manor.
Imo it took somewhere between 10-20 minutes for me to do so. I had a clear idea on how my team should be next season already, so I could EASILY pick out 20 races where I shouldn't select a goal - And then it was just looking at the raceprofiles and compare them to my riders or transfertargets and then put them in. Easy as 1-2-3.
SN, i know you wanted it as fast as possible, but if some people (apparently 5 out of 50) couldn't put it as fast as others i don't think there should be any problem. Yes, it delays the transfer season a bit but as for myself, i don't have any problem waiting 2 days or 2 months for it, I'll keep playing because i like to.

You literally could have done your goals in the same amount of time it's taken you to put your excuses up. It may not annoy you that the transfer season won't start for another 2-3 months, rather than 2-3 days, but some of us (read the other 45 managers who could be arsed to do it on time) might give a shit.
