I'm getting rid of Petrie-Armstrong in the close season.
He's an excellent attacking rider , but unfortunately his stats don't mean he's worth anything in the ManGame unless he gets really lucky like in Langkawi last season. And luck being like it is, he's used up all his already, |

That Pokerstars train ... wow.
Nice to see Tennant getting around a bit for CdC - a shame he only got credited with 6th though, the pic suggests he did better. (Unless he faded in the very last metres). Good effort also for Bennett, in 14th.

No disrespect to the Crit Series - but with the way Tennant has been performing - stage win in a GC and some other strong rides - I think he's gone beyond this. With a stats boost at the end of the season, he's going to be very, very useful. Like Petrie-Armstrong but with the stats to back it up maybe....

Oh of course, 6th in the crit is in no way close to his best results of the year - but since like someone like Dowsett, he is a rider of mine loaned out, I have no idea where they will show up (I could obviously look in the race planer, but no fun that way) - so its a nice surprise when they do, and are in the thick of the action.
And yeh, cant wait to unleash Tennant back on the Continental Tour next season. It will be interesting to see how successful he can be with 'only' 77 tt, 69 hill, 67 sprint, but then really good flat and sta/res/rec skills.

He was a three-star favorite. I have it set to no random fitness, so it must have just been a bad day. As for your question SN, everyone on inside of the corner (i.e. they should have gotten to the line quicker) got to the line slower. I have no idea why, blame PCM. However, Tennant did cross the line in sixth. |

Well - it is last chance saloon for the Red Bull boys - still some sort of result will give us an outside oppurtunity at the last Championship race... though if it is a flat crit no one will stop those Pokerstars lot who I rather fancy will give a demonstration on the cobbled Belgian crit too!

If you are referring to the final championship race it is on the Champs Elysee (or however it is spelled, I don't have automatic spell check right now). That is what I need a stage maker for by the way... |

And my computer is finally back up and running. Really busy this weekend, hopefully I'll have a day with little homework this week to get Portugal up. |

Hello everyone. Just so you know, the reason for the major delay is not laziness. As a forty post thread in the reporters forum can attest to, I've been having some major stage trouble. However, with SN's help I am optimistic the problem has been located. However I have now lost access to the computer I play PCM on till thursday. That said, I have Italy lined up right behind Portugal, so if everything goes to plan both will be up by the end of the week, with Belgium following on schedule.
As for the Crit Finals, let me note a few things.
1) The crit is essentially the final stage of the tour de france with the run into the Champs Elysee cut off. As such the race is about 60 km long or so, with 8 laps (this is all ballpark, if you look up the actual stage your'll get the exact numbers) of the circuit. So the route will be mostly flat.
2) If your team is in the top 12 teams, I will contact you by PM when I'm ready to ask you for your team. You'll only have a couple days to respond, so be ready. Expect the PM shortly after Belgium goes up.
3) If one (or more) of the top 12 team's manager is either not active or doesn't get his team in on time, I will open the door to a replacement team to come in. However, it is your prerogative to express interest, and I will not consider you unless you were reasonably (from my perspective) close to making the top 12 (things like having a team that is hyperactive in the races will help as well). If with those teams added we are still not up to 12, then I will choose the roster for the team's whose managers are AWOL.

In case my team isn't close to top 12 (I think they aren't, as I only have Belgium left), then I'll still be very interested in taking part of that last race

Well like SotD and Crommy, the Red Bull crit squad would love to be involved... however we really have not produced much to shout about in races in terms of results.
Ikea - I doubt will respond so that opens the door to at least one team. Highroad and Cillit Bang did not sign up for the National championships so.... possibly the door opens there!

Vesuvio also would be interested, currently being just outside the Top 12, despite limited amounts of racing in the series - plus Schinker could do well on the Champs Elysses course
