Mixed feelings - will be a useful domestique for the classics for them, just hope he can get some license at such a big team. If Schreurs makes the jump could be a nifty wee Kiwi duo.

Indeed a odd move, i have a hard time seing him in the TDF. Maybe he will be put in the Vuelta, to strengthen Froomes chances of a TDF+Vuelta. He did ride very will in this edition. |

Kinda expected, him being a close friend and long time domestique of Nibali. Still waiting for a few top class mountain helpers for Nibali, so far he only has Siutsu. |

Yeah, it would be cool, altho Nibali is all but confirmed for EL CENTISIMO. Rightfully so. |

They have like 8-9 better mountain domestiques, I have a hard time figuring this out I must admit. |

I'm gonna go with, Money. FDJ can't pay the same plain and simple. On the plus side i can't wait to see Elissonde in the TDF squad and pulling Froome away from Bardet on the climbs

Sky was tempting Pinot in 2014 as well if I'm not wrong. Many FDJ riders after a breakthrough leave the team and are competing elsewhere. Two examples are exception - Thibault Pinot and Arnaud Demare.
It's painfully obvious that FDJ has the smallest budget among the WT teams and in fact it's comparable with that of an pro-Continental team.
