Travelling to London on Monday to cover Acer's presentation of Windows 8 products, and it appears they've booked us at St Martin's Lane.
No complaints from me, that's for sure.
NICE!
May I ask what you are working as? I means since you get to go tho the ACER presentation...
He's a multi - journalist
What I mean by mulit is Mike's covering a lot of topics. Sport, Tech etc.
All that studying was worth it I guess at the end

Nope. But it sounds like some sort of promo for WWE 13. The only WWE (name) account I have is the MG account. @cterjesen, my main account is about everything.

I'm a journalist who just happens to switch news desks from time to time. Just went from sports to gadgets / technology. One of the few benefits of being an intern |

Yeah... Well, At least more than my study I saw the projections for total IT jobs over the next year in ireland today. It ranges up to 800. My frinds dad just employed 30 interns (now guess how quickly thos e jobs will be gone) over the last 2 weeks. This shows me on what a downslope the IT sector is getting (at least over here on the islands). But seriously, 800 jobs in a country that prides itself in having the european headquaters of the 5 leading computer companies, and a dozen of software companies in their capital and surrounding areas has only 800 jobs over 3 years?
I myself study geography... Well, looks like im goona take a bunch of geology modules and start digging for Oil once i graduate, (WARNING, vast generalisation coming!!! cause if I have learned one thing in recent years, than it is that the world runs on IT and Oil... If It is doing bad, heck, why not just take a shot in the dark and find some oil...
EDIT: the fact that you are an intern makes the trip to london all that better, mike!

Oh. I see. I guess it's a way for the person to promote a web page or something. Happens all the time. I don't think he follows any of my accounts.
Checked the account out. MTN - WBR follows that account, so I guess it's through there, perhaps?

Windows 8 sucks for anything other than tab things. Glad to take Windows 7, Vista, or Xp over it.

Vista ? Are you serious ? I haven't tried 8, but I used Vista for a while. Quickly switched back to XP. |

Windows 8 will suck, at least judging from what i read. Microsoft is imo too deep in their conviction "We are doing the best product on the market, you would be crazy not to buy it, whatever it is".
But Vista? Worst system ever, XP and 7 are much better imo, but xP are loosing compatibility to games and more...

Windows 8, 7, Vista, it doesn't matter. Mostly it's all pure crap, excuse me my French!
However, they might once surprise me with something, but I doubt it'll be with Windows 8... |

No snow so far in central Europe, but the tempretures should be going below zero at night in the coming days, so lets wait and see.

It's still snowing here. Already 30cm and that's unusual before we even hit November. |

It was 80 today, 85 tomorrow, and into the 90's over the weekend. Or, as you would say in the rest of the world, Between 27 and 32 degrees.
Or as I would say, No snow

Yesterday was the first day of snow, today is the first day of perfect skating ice on every road surface. Went outside and after I had walked about 1cm I slipped and fell. My tailbone has been turned into a jigsaw puzzle.

Wow, you guys think 32 is hot? A couple summers back it was 48 down here. Each summer there are usually about 5 days over 40, and nearly all Mid-November to late-February is 34+. |
