Stage today for the breakaway. 13:45 minutes ahead of the Peloton. |

At the start of the stage this morning, Chris Froome told the Vuelta's official website: "I like the atmosphere of La Vuelta a España more than the Tour de France. I like the Spanish culture and the attitude of the people. Spectators have many Spanish riders to encourage and they also encourage me. That helps me to keep my motivation high even though I'm a little tired."
Froome also likes Spanish Steaks and maybe a move in team afoot?
Break will win, by many minutes...

I bet on another rider and now I've seen that the break way has a huge advantage |

Well that's an improvement from receiving death threats last year...
We should have a nice duel though between Purito v Conta and Froome v Valverde today.

I must say so far is Vuelta better than Giro and way better than Tour. |

For the love of... Eurosport is showing some tennis match instead of the Vuelta.

There's some sort of transmission problem iirc. The broadcast will start any time now.

Dammit. These bets shouldn't start while the race is on for this reason!

Great, the break is gonna go in...
Honestly, I think the bets should be closed before the start of the stage.

Lastras for the stage? Does he still have it or is he too old?

I think I placed my bet after the actual start of the stage...

Too old I think. He has been weak all year.
Seeldraeyers is my bet.

Nope. early in the race they actually ended after the stage once, then they were moved back to 10:45 my time, which is still enough to judge who will stay away. And now I'm out money for playing fair. Out a win for doing things right. Well, this is a cycling website.
