The route
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1638_zpsf80430fb.jpg
Some tough hills in the end will decide today's winner. The winner should be a puncher who's able to survive some climbs.

Our squad
Matthew Clarkson is here for a lookaround in the higher levels. The young Aussie will have his debute here.
Pieter Dubois will do the same. The young Belgian is likely to just help his teammates.
Jonas Ek is here as a pure domestique. The cobbler should be a good help on the flat.
Joep Gouda is our leader here. The climber has a good punch and should be able to do well.
Heiko Kalichmann is here with a free role, or as key domestique. That should be decided depending on the race.
Khieu Tet Khamphan is here with the same role as Jonas: pure work and mainly on the flat.
Timothy Raue is another important rider for Joep. He should be able to hang on for a long time, which should help the team.
Taeke Roorda has a role that can be guessed by now I suppose.

Expectation
In this field it'll be hard to get a good performance. I'll aim on top-20.

Race report

Matthew decides to honor his debute with an attack. This results in him being part of the break of 8.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1640_zps75666c19.jpg

With 15km to go Patron is still in the lead. He still has the final climb ahead of him. A group of 34 is chasing, including Joep, Timothy, Heiko and Matthew.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1641_zps86c2017f.jpg

With 11km to go Pellizotti and Battaglin reach Patron.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1642_zps276c5909.jpg

At the top we have 6 leaders: Pellizotti, Colbrelli, Battaglin, Rubiano, Sinkewitz and Taborre.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1643_zpsb9cd59d3.jpg

In the downhill Pellizotti and Colbrelli make another move.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1644_zps865a2d39.jpg

Under the banner Pellizotti starts leading out Colbrelli.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1645_zpsdbafd737.jpg

Colbrelli takes victory, with Pellizotti 2nd.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1646_zps7e8926a5.jpg

Joep and Timothy end in the group for 7th place, but both never really contested it. We'll have to settle with 24th.

Expectation
If the break doesn't succeed a top-5 is a decent expectation.

Race report

A break of no less than 10 riders is created. Simon is in it.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1648_zps6815af9a.jpg

At the final climb Milán has enough of the low pace in the pack and tries to bridge the 1min20 to the break.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1649_zps392b2ee3.jpg

With 15km to go he reaches the 4 final riders of the break. They have a gap of 45s to the pack.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1650_zps6569d4d1.jpg

Björn also manages to reach the escapees, but too late, as Milán has already attacked.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1651_zpsc841744a.jpg

With 5km to go Milán has an increasing gap. The second group meanwhile has merged with the third, almost all favourites are on the chase now.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1652_zps242d490f.jpg

Despite the high pace Milán hardly loses time.

At the line
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1654_zps8a357782.jpg
Milán takes victory. Björn, Peter and Simon all end in the back of the chasing group. Milán didn't see his solo rewarded with overall victory, as Craven took enough bonifications to take the final GC. Björn has to settle for 4th.

Stages
Stage 1
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1655_zps8eb138f8.jpg

report

Stage 2
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1656_zps51b81b20.jpg
At the beautiful Lofoten we have the next stage of this edition. Even flatter than the previous one this is another mass sprint to come.

report

Stage 3
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1678_zpsf1445832.jpg
A slightly bumpy stage offers opportunities for puncheurs, although it still seems favoured for sprinters.

report

Stage 4
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1658_zps4f814048.jpg
On a bumpy circuit we end this Arctic Race of Norway. Either the sprinters or a late attack should win here.

report

Our squad
Björn Arvid is one of the punchers who might do well in stage 3/4.
Armin Berg-Hansen should help us in the sprints here.
Jonas Ek is once again a pure domestique in service of our leaders.
Kristian Hammarling is one of the key riders of the GC if he can do well in the mass sprints.
Fatbardh Haxhi will be important in the sprint stages as support for Kristian.
Simon Holt is a key domestique here, being able to help both Kristian and our punchers.
Peter Pal is our co-leader with Kristian. The Norwegian puncher might even have a shot at overall victory.
Djaja Susanto is here for leading out Kristian, which he's probably getting used to. If necessary he can be a good sprinter himself though.

Expectation
A good sprint should bring us in the top-20, anything above is nice.

Race report

Jonas is part of the 4-man break today.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1660_zps1f98a300.jpg

Unfortunately Fedi is too strong for Jonas at the mountain sprint.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1661_zps21a52768.jpg

With 30km to go Jonas has wasted all his efforts and drops out of the break.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1662_zps5b44f563.jpg

The wind in combination with the hills makes it a tough race today. Among the victims we find Hinault, Schorn and many others.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1663_zps006f4a2a.jpg

More riders dropped are Richeze and Djaja.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1664_zpsbc996013.jpg

A worn out pack has difficulty chasing Fedi, who now has a good lead with 10km to go.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1665_zps0680022a.jpg

With 5km to go the lead is still 1m27. This should be for Fedi.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1666_zps33bb0e13.jpg

In the pack Björn is leading out Peter and Kristian.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1667_zps03ec12f0.jpg

Fedi doesn't lose any time though.
