Cancellara: I'm free to talk
Swiss rider Fabian Cancellara has spoken out today, stating that he is free to speak to any team about signing for them.
'The Euskatel situation worries me.' said the Leopard man. 'When I signed the 2012 contract with them, they assured me that all was well, despite their hit and miss season.'
'Recent developments have shown the complete opposite,' continued Cancellara, 'and after speaking to my agent and lawyers, I am free to speak to other teams about my future.'
These words from Cancellara certainly confirms the financial problems of the Basque Team for the 2012 season, whilst Euskatel bosses are still remaining tight lipped.
RadioShack and BMC appear to be the early front runners in the race to Cancellara's signature, but no doubt there will be a lot of interested parties.

9th October 2011 - Paris-Tours
The Paris - Tour is the final sprinter's classics of the season, and it will be the first time I get to ride in the World Champions Jersey!
I will lead the team, hoping to take the victory. Mark Renshaw and Isaac Côté with make up my lead out train.
Tejay van Garderen, Lars Bak and Bert Grabsch will provided the fire power in the peleton, and will most likely be used in the chase back of any breaks, and making sure I am positioned correctly for the sprint.
Jan Ghyselinck and Luis Reilly complete the line up, and will be given a free role and will look to get into the day's breakaway.

My friend has raced against Wiggo's wife. I stood with Wiggo watching it, chatting about cycling. It was just after he broke his collarbone last season. That's my claim to fame!
I've also eaten a chinese with Ian Wilkinson (GB domestic rider, who was on Endura team last year) after watching him race the Colne GP last year. A friend worked with his wife at Science at Sport
