@jaxika,francopell,sutty,fcancellara - Thanks guys for all the comments! It's really motivating me, and helping!
Critérium du Dauphiné Stage 3
A hilly day, with some bigger climbs, it finishes uphill, but the finish is not too hard.
Today's break was a really strong one, with guys like Taaramae, Westra or Moinard. The peloton didn't chase too hard, and let them have a big gap. However, when Sky realised the danger of losing the leader's jersey, they chased really hard, and with 6kms to go the gap went down to a minute.
This was still not enough, Sky continued the chase, and it all came down in the last kilometer, where the break still had a bit of their lead. The break was fighting hard, and the sprint started.
Urtasun went strong with Moinard and Westra, and Taaramae got into big trouble, and lost contact. The pack was led by the SpiderTech duo and Jensie, and the gap was closing in every meter. At the last 100, Urtasun looked back...
...and realized that he made it! Still had plenty of time to celebrate, Westra became 2nd, Moinard 3rd, the group of two with Taaramae and Majka got in at 21', while the peloton followed at 33'. That means that the leader's jersey will be on Westra's shoulders tomorrow.

@Miguel - Believe me, it wasn't that bad, at all. We still were one of the strongests in the pack.
@the_hoyle - We didn't have the GC lead. fcancellara is right.
@Ian Butler - It will slow down from today, I will have less time from now... Unfortunately, I must say.
Critérium du Dauphiné Stage 4
An easy flat stage before tomorrow's 50km long TT.
The usual daily BotD got formed at around the 20th kilometer of the stage, and it consisted of 4 riders, inlcuding Alexandr Kolobnev and Rabobank's Stef Clement. However, this break didn't get a too big lead, and Sky kept them close, as they wanted a mass-sprint for EBH.
Sky successfully chased the break down, and then organised a great train for EBH, with Thomas and Hayman leading out Eddy the Boss. We tried to get onto his wheel with 3 of our riders, but Geraint Thomas pulled the front to hard, and that can also be said about Matthew Hayman.
Matthew Hayman let Boasson Hagen "fly" just before the 1km sign. Westra was almost up there with them, but the others were way back behind. EBH had a ferocious speedburst, and went away from the others easily.
And he won the stage with ease! It was just a "walk in the park" for Eddy the Boss! He had the greatest leadout, and he was the fastest, that's a must win situation. Julien Simon came 2nd, and Soupe took 3rd. Our best was Jakab, taking another impressive Top 10, this time it was the 10th place for him.

@fcancellara & fernando: I have no idea why I said GC lead... I must have read it somewhere, or I was being overly optimistic...

Wow. Just spend 2 hours catching up. Great result in the Giro man!
I will have a chat with Dennis though. I know he was only a waterboy, but 158 (i believe) is far below par!
What was his result in the time trial, can you still check that?
Anyway. Great results and looking forward to the TDF. |

@ste_18 - Thanks, I'm trying to test Zoltán's legs as much as possible.
@Miguel -
@pdxboon - Thanks, always trying to.
@the_hoyle - , it just happens sometimes.
@sutty - Indeed, Gary will try to keep/improve it in the TT.
@Colinas - Thanks for the kind words, well Dennis's recovery turned out to be the crucial thing. He was the 2nd lowest on the team in that discipline, he also had to work a lot in the first kilometers, then the protecting job took a lot of energy. In the final TT, he got 178th. But hey, he did get a 12th on the stage, which Bahr almost won.
From now on, the reports will come less often, but I'll be trying to keep a good pace, as far as school allows it. |

@Bendzsi - Thanks, I hope too.
Critérium du Dauphiné Stage 5
A really long TT before the mountains,however it can decide the GC single-handedly.
The first co-leader of us was Jakab, who wanted to test his legs before the mountains today. Well, he did pretty bad, and finished quite down compared to the current leader, Geraint Thomas. +2'08
The next favourite our was Nibali, who was going hard all the way in a quite good tempo, he finished just 9 seconds down Thomas. Great ride, he proved that he is in a great form after the Giro.
After Nibali, Sutton was the next to amaze us. The british rider beated Thomas with a huge 34 seconds gap. What a great ride by him!
However, this time wasn't enough, as shortly after Edvald Boasson Hagen crossed the line, and finished the TT with a 27 seconds gap on Sutton! Now this was a real mind-blowing performance, the norwegian must be in a really good form!
The yellow jersey Westra knew that he won't match Boasson Hagen's time, but he tried to at least limit his losses. Despite his efforts, he couldn't do anything, finishing 2 minutes down on the winner. That means that the leader's jersey gone to EBH, who has plenty of a lead on Sutton.
