Until he signs with Sky, this is going to remain off-topic, but, to explain my feelings about Hesjedal :
- Performing close or slightly above the limits of acceptable.
- Trains in Gijona, of all places (might as well be training in Saint-Moritz or Tenerife).
- Has ridden for a nice collection of teams : US Postal, Discovery, Phonak, Garmin Reserve, Garmin.
- Former good MTBer (I admit it's being a little unfair, but MTBers don't really have a reputation of cleanness).
I know it's no proof or even hardly solid evidence, but let's say there are reasons to put a question mark on him.
I agree it's a little bit suspicious. But when has Garmin been dirty? And it is unfair to call all mtb doped, look at Evans. Also, a lot of cyclists are in Girona. However, having the US Postal and Phonak teams, doesn't help.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

I'm just connecting the dots, but I admit there are no hard evidences against him. But the whole picture just looks fishy, IMO. |

If you look at who is at Garmin (staff and riders) you might start to get some suspicions.
Its hard to tell if MTN Bikers are doped, I dont really think its any more than others...
And a lot of doped cyclists are in Girona. There were rumours a year or two ago of a potential massive doping ring bust, after some group was after someone who apparently spilled the beans on the doping ring., I think.

Interesting quote from Vaughters:
'The logic is that if a rider/director/manager/doctor had any sort of association with another rider/manager/director/doctor that has been accused or associated with doping in the past, then all parties are guilty.' |

The dope train for the lead out today.
Wiggins is probably so numb from all the dope that he can't feel any pain. That's the only reason to lead-out EBH. |

I don't know why people would complain about today's effort in the finale from Wiggins - this is what he is best suited to as a time trialist.

Did people not watch the WC's? Wiggins did this for the entire finale, blew the attackers apart. Voeckler probably would have won if not for him.

It's funny cause your own post goes under the quoted category. |

You must have a big knowledge to claim this with such certainty. |

Wiggins have just stated that he would like to show he's blood values and numbers, but he cant. The reason for this is , that the doctors/medical staff on Sky has adviced him not to, since the numbers and values can easily be misunderstood. And the numbers itself wouldn't show or proof whether you are doped or not. Very interesting statement. |

Somehow sounds like "I'd like to show you I don't dope, but I do"
