I think I've put this in the wrong thread, so now I'll post it in the right thread.

In the cylingweek of Coppi and Bartali they've done a different kind of team-time-trial. All the teams had to split up their team in two teams of four riders. Katusha was the fastest with one of their four-riders teams.

Thomas is getting older though, I don´t think he will develop much further.

Big question is when is stannard gonna win something. He seems immense at the moment.
Ha may not get many chances plus he has to ride away from everyone - like Cancellara only with less power and less of a sprint?
The comparison you're looking for is "Flecha"

Although I suppose 26 does sound really old when you're 15

Somebody who worked as a domestique a long time?
EDIT: Oh right. How did I not see it. Duh.

The evolution of the curb over the years looks like he's improved by thin margins. |

Well, I mean, most riders peak around the age of 29, so from 26 to 29 you don't usually see major improvements.
EDIT:
Horner is an exception (together with Evans, Klöden, Voigt), most riders are not on that level at that kind of age.

Clearly a trick question. That's the profile for the Angliru stage in this year's Vuelta

I strongly doubt if that happened in a way it should have happened, but that's something for the Sky Doping Thread.

I think with people like thomas though their development is a bit weird due to the track. Its not like he needs to develop to a world class level because on the track he already is. The displine's are similar enough that the skills translate so that its just a case of converting really. Especially the endurance track cyclists. 95% of cycling is basically endurance.
I think he could probably improve well for another year or so. Certainly cobbles is something you only really ever get better at with age as its very much something you get with experience.
Would be nice to see Stannard get a go at P-R so i hope they do, Especially as i'm fairly sure Wiggins is gonna go for that next year so he wont get a look in then XD |

I remember Thomas always being touted as a great future talent...
He put in some good performances early in his career, nothing outstanding, but showed he had potential.
Then he focused on his tack cycling for the Olympics.
Now he's back and doing well. This should no be shocking...
oh no its Sky what was i thinking! etc etc pointless debate

I read somewhere Thomas is dreaming of and working to become a contender in GT's. Inspired by Wiggins. The magazine I read that in might be wrong. Anybody who knows/has read more about this?

I know Thomas mentioned something about climbing and small tours in 2010...
But he seems to be more focused on Cobbles these days...
But then again its Sky, so who knows?

Haha very well spotted
It's actually the only profile for the Anglirú, as the same climbs are always used

In the middle he had that 2010 Dauphiné that's still one of the most shocking things I've seen
"Who's the Sky sprinter dropping so many climbers? Oh it's Thomas"

If you insist I'll try my best to instigate. Remember, this is a wind-up and only because you asked (And yes I know what your counter-argument would be if this was a serious discussion)
