Doesn't change the fact they were idiots tactically
Italy and Spain made it possible for Evans to defeat the others one on one

Cancellara's extremely disappointed in the floor (and tired for sure). He did a good job though. |

As long as Spain act like they are stupids they will never win a World Championship. |

A former nobel prize had the same last name as me. And not a common one. Shame he wasn't from my city

Well not the most sympathic World Champion of all time, but I must say I'm looking forward to seeing the rainbow jersey in the mountains, like with Rominger back in the days.
Other than that fantastic race, the best WC RR I've ever seen. But I must admit I would like to have seen Kolobnev and Rodriquez being a bit more aware when Evans strolled off the front.

Im glad Evans won, at last he gets a big race, and at last the idiots can stop saying he is a wheelsucker who never attacks.
Although the curse of the rainbow jersey isnt going to help any further Grand Tour hopes

Rominger was never world champ. Last guy to win it and wear it in the mountains was Luc Leblanc
Last Tour contender to wear it was Bugno and before that LeMond

It's all speculation and I am not sure Fabian would have had the kick if it stayed together but it was not very fair that guys like Cunego and other self proclaimed climbers were constantly looking to him to pull things back together and just wouldn't do work themselves.

Damn, I almost could. I will blame my father for naming me Oliveira instead of Cardoso |
