Amazing job once again by Chamorro! When he doesn't fall off his bike, he's consistently in the Top 10 or even Top 5 of those races - I couldn't have expected more! The win in the team standings is a very welcome addition, of course. And happy to see Nerz didn't crash this time, but I'm not sure if he somehow manipulated Herklotz' bike

YEEES! Another stage win for our team! It's good to see Yelko Gomez taking the 5th stage at USA Pro Cycling Challenge. We also followed the right breakaways in the final 3 stages putting under the belt 2 more top 3 presences on stages besides Yelko Gomez's win. It's a shame that Arredondo crashed in the last stage and we couldn't finish in top 15. But a stage win and 2nd in points classification is something I can live with. Especially since this was a CT.1 race.
It looks like we enjoy a great deal going on races out of our depth. We put good shows at Vuelta a Guatemala and USA Pro Cycling Challenge. Maybe we can start doing that at CT.2 races as well. |

In summation - 3 stage wins, Top 15 in GC, Top 3 in Points Classification and Top 5 in KoM. I think it's OK, but don't know if this will be enough to be back in the promotion hunt

Olympic race posted. Obviously PCM15 time trial gameplay is flawless and can not be further improved!!
Spoiler In all seriousness, Herrada took amazing advantage of the hills and podiumed alongside TVG as strong time trialist with better hill stat. Bit disappointed in the road race, was hoping for more action from far out but the last lap certainly delivered. Well done to Bardet, who had it coming after losing Liege to the breakaway.

I obviously misjudged the road race, can't have been that tough if Cav is 12th. Sagan 5th, he always delivers. Majka 7th in the TT, also a nice result.

Just ordered a load of gold paint!
Hill training (including acc) really paying off for Bardet, super happy to get Olympic Gold.
Thanks for the great video Shonak.

Not sure Lavery was Ireland's best shot on that profile.

Silver in the Olympics to follow the World Champs Gold, it's been a great couple of seasons for Yates
Craddock doing well to get 6th in the TT as well. Was expecting the route to be helpful to him.
Thanks for the coverage Shonak and congrats To D2B

I didn't expect to find our riders in the Olympics, but we were represented by 3 of them. Not great results, but in the end The most important thing in the Olympic Games is not winning but taking part; the essential thing in life is not conquering but fighting well.
Congratulations to all the medal winners!
And thank you, Shonak, for the great videos! |

A lot to catch up on for us!
First, an absolutely brilliant first WT performance by Silvio, doing exactly what I hoped for in Annecy, which was staying with the best over the climbs and utilizing his sprint training for his biggest career win!

It ain't done yet!
Obviously, a very much up and down USAPCC following right after that doesn't make for the greatest back-to-back racing experience.
The opening TT was a disgrace already, finishing in 20th while Godoy absolutely takes the cake for TT overperformance of the season with measly 70tt...
My nephew, having zero PCM experience, rightfully asked me whether he crashed there when we checked the results together.
The stage win was as dominant as possible, and the less words spent on the stages after it, the better.
And since things weren't going downhill enough yet, Auer crashes out of 11th on the final stage as well.
Congrats to Nemolito.
Still, if we look at that stretch from both a promotion and a legacy perspective, I much prefer winning Annecy and coming second in USAPCC over something like 5th in Annecy while winning in the US.
And I wouldn't have complained about the latter to begin with.
Mid-table results in both Olympic races are fine, but certainly Herklotz could've joined his fellow climbers in trying to make a difference on that last lap.
Sagan, who ultimately finished 5th, was only four positions ahead of Silvio over the last big hill. Better positioning could've made for a memorable result.
Two more classics for Herklotz and Schnaidt each left, the rest of our promotion campaign has to be carried by Plarre.
I'm excited for the August rankings update!

Wytinck takes his sprint to the line to pull off a nice win for KBC. Sanz wasn't great in the sprints so nice to get an unexpected stage win.
Congrats to Vegeta.

Great performance at the Olympics from Villella, he is still missing that big win this season but is nonethless by far our best performer.

Come on guys, you can't let anybody stay away to the finish in a stage race like this. Disappointing to know that Langlois would have taken the overall without Kelemen's win, and disappointing to not the win the points classification either because he just couldn't get that stage win. It was still a good race for him though to get 2 podiums, 2 top 5's and 2nd on GC. I like his consistency for sure.

Decent GC result in Baltic but not great from the sprinting perspective. Degenkolb was weak on stages where the break didn't survive and strong when they did! Anyway, can't complain too much, was a decent race overall.

Decent GC result for us in Baltic as well I think with Quaade in the top-10 and a 2nd and 4th (GVA) on the stages. Thanks for the results.

Best part of the season for CCC gone away. Nice to see TVG with bronze from Olympics. Komisarek tho with very underperformance in Northern Europe. Like c'mon. From this year results I expected more... Unless his crash at le Tour is still chasing him, lol |

Fantastic performance by VDP on stage 3, closely missed the stage win but was obviously empty while Kwiatek still had some kick. Still was enough to get some solid gap to the time trialists. Fingers crossed that daily form favors VDP and he can retain his lead over them to finish on the podium.
Thanks bikex!
