CCC is doing splendid. Wadecki shows he means serious business and developing his team slowly but surely pays off - both in the results and received WT wild cards. I just wish he would develoop the team basing on someone else than Rebellin or Schumacher. It feels like eating a lemon when you look at the line up with those two.
GO GO FLOWER POWER RANGERS!!!

But, but... since when is eating a lemon a bad thing? They are freaking good, just like 43-year old Rebellin. I havent followed him since he was at Gerolsteiner and was good in the ardennes, but I cant really grasp how he has been able to transition into a climber at this age....
Anyways, who is even watching this race? |

He hasn't. He just beat a bunch of non-climbers. And it's not like he's ever only been good in the hills. He has a 6th from the Giro back in the 90s, and quite a few other climbing results. The only thing slightly remarkable about today's performance is that he's now 43

I'm all for innocent until proven guilty but seriously, sometimes there is so much damn smoke I just can't see the fire...
This isn't aimed at anyone on this site but this tweet (and the responses) amused me too

De Gendt over 9 minutes down, riding in support of Hansen or just can't be bothered?

I remember reading in the LTB preview that Hansen was their GC man.
De Gendt does his job for the leaders and when things get crowded and risky (bunch sprints, positioning for climbs etc.) he drops back and loses time so he can attack and win from a breakaway later on. |

One thing I always wondered: do you pronounce Caleb Ewan like McEwen or more like the "aven" in Davenport?

Ewan like McEwan or Ewan McGregor or EwanWilson is the only way i've ever heard.

Like McEwen I believe. That would be the typical Australian pronunciation at least.
EDIT: Zabel'd but I have slightly different information so

I'm asking because until now I've only heard the McEwen pronunciation as well, but now the German commentators in Turkey use the latter one.
Thanks for the answers

Finally...this was important for his Giro motivation.

The Gorilla finally gets the victory he has been looking for! Cavendish and much of the Etixx team were distanced by the final climb and the fast pace in the following descent to catch the break.
Magnus Cort Nielsen finishing fourth for GreenEDGE after Ewan was dropped from the peloton.

How did Ewan became so bad at climbing? Wasn't he one of the best in Florence WC U23?
I always imagined him as the next Sagan/Degenkolb |

Orica is like Puma in mg, only that they went even more full retard. They'll have such a sick team in a few years if they can keep their talents together, absolutely crazy.

It's not for nothing that Greipel outclimbed Nibali in MSR.
