It's cool with me. I know Kwiat's season was pretty awesome and that won't go away by not winning the Velo d'Or

The pole didn't win! ?! His unexpected dominance meant that he was a clear choice for me, his massive points tally was the main reason SH walked away with the rankings. Quintana was high up on my list, but not winning in Táchira and not on the podium in the Basque country, meant he was never an option for me and behind Contador.
Though others' opinions are understandable. |

Thanks a lot OZrocker. Third place to Contador is good although for me he is personal #1 due to World Championships and an outstanding Tour de France (still one MTN stat less than Quintana). Quintana with a faboluous season rightfully number one tho, Kwiatek had a good season but lots of small races that made him score points.

No love for sprinters
Kittel was unbeatable throughout most of the season so it's a shame that he does not walk away with a podium here but at least everyone ahead also deserves to be there.

That calls for the obligatory triple banana!
Kwiatkowski's season was really impressive as well especialy at the beginning of the season. Also worth noting that both Nairo and Kwiatek profited in the rankings from winning youth competitions, which they can't do anymore next season.
I also voted for Kittel as second place behind Kwiatek and am quite surprised he isn't higher up with his dominance in the grand tours.

Thanks OZrocker for that.
I'm a little surprised Kwiatkowski didn't win, but Nairo had a good season to so fair enough.

Thanks OZrocker for doing this. No surprising winner to me. A tour winner always deserves to be far up. For me it was between him and Contador. |

I think sprinters are the ugly sisters of cycling really, possibly only slightly ahead of the cursed testers. We can sort of apprieciate what they do - but it is the climbers and classics boys we all dream of being.
Sorry for not voting I just didn't follow the PT close enough last year to warrent putting anything down. Will be different this year of course
