Giro d'Italia 2013 - Week 3

Apparently lots of snow on Tre Cime. I wonder if we will see any last-minute stage alterations - or even during the stage.

Starting to think that the true winner of this year's Giro isn't Nibbles, but the weather itself.

Meh, it's Nibbles Wink

Without accidents, he'll win easily. And even without all the cancellation and whatnot, I believe Nibali is by far the strongest in the race. He probably even would've taken more time and finished in Brescia with 15 minutes on Evans Grin

An Evans on the way back and a Scarponi on the way back. Nibali was by far the strongest, but he also had no competition. A shame he couldn't fight worthy opponents, not his fault tho. I think Froome/Contador would have had a lot of trouble beating this Nibali

I know that Nibbles is the true winner of this Giro. Even without the weather, he probably would have won and probably by a bigger margin.

So , maybe seeing Nibali at Tour this year,as a leader?

Definitely not. WC for Nibali, so no Giro and Tour.

Maybe Vuelta, yes, but in prep for WC.

No way he can recover from the Giro to fight for the Tour. Either Brajkovic or Fuglsang will lead Astana at the Tour.

I recall that Astana already named Fuglsang as their TDF leader.

I actually remember that, but I wasn't 100% shore.

I think it's doable! Should atleast make this Giro a bit 'heroic'

Remembering Eddy Merckx on the Tre Chime in 1968, heroics are a necessity here Grin

Maybe Brambilla will stop climbing like Cav?

Forget about intermediates, the way Cavendish is climbing in this Giro, he's going for the stage win Grin
