Very glad with the results there I had a hard time choosing between Mary/Moses and JFK/John Lennon, what would be more likely, but I chose well
This new round looks really hard, tough questions indeed! Will definitely have to look some of those up.
By the way Freitas, thanks so much for keeping scores man! I just realised you're not actually playing yourself, or making any of the questions, meaning you do only the more boring work now.
I really hope that you can keep this up, at least until the end of the round. If you find it hard to make the time, let us know on the forums so someone can take over, I'll be happy to resign from the game to keep scores if I need to.

1. Name a doper (not cyclist)
Does this have to be an athlete?

Well, don't complain, I'm Jesl, Yeh!
yeah, and he left an l out of my name.
Yeah, I noticed... I have a bit of dyslexia, and when it takes to usernames, I'm a pro at getting them wrong. I'll ammend them, do not worry!

I actually like updating the scores, it's fun to compare answers. Well, until the end of the round, I can, we'll see afterwards, but if things keep on going like this, I may still have something left in the saddle, maybe until the end of the year.
And folks, deadline's this Thursday at 23.59 CET!!! Keep sending your answers! |

Time's up! I'll have the results sorted up during the weekend, so expect them by Sunday, or Monday in the worst case (have a busy time, but I can handle it). |

I'm With Stupid - Round 3 Game 12
1. Name a doper (not cyclist)
Close one over here, with runner Tyson Gay being the most answered, with a result of 4 times, followed by baseballer Alex Rodriguez, with 3 asnwers.
Spoiler 2x Asafa Powell
1x Dwaine Chambers
1x Veronica Campbell Brown
1x Rafael Nadal
1x Jordany Valdespin
1x Tomas Enge
1x Bob Marley
2. Name two brothers who are both very succesful in sport
They were successful, at least until 2011, but Frank and Andy Schleck were the most given answer, with 5 members mentioning their name. Maybe next time it will be Simon and Adam Yates's time?
Spoiler 3x Alistair/Jonathan Brownlee
2x Kevin/Jonathan Borlee
1x Michael/Ralf Schumacher
1x Peyton/Eli Manning
1x Vitali/Wladimir Klitschko
1x Mario/Aldo Andretti
1x Jeff/Jered Weaver
3. Name a non olympic sport
This was a close one, but Baseball stood clear with 3 answers given. Cyclo-Corss, American Football, Rugby and F1 were close, but they all got 2 answers.
Spoiler 1x Snooker
1x FMX
1x Kickball
1x Golf
4. Name a sport channel on TV
This one was the most decisive of them all, if your answer wasn't Eurosport, then your chances of a good result are vanished. It was answered 8 times, reaching consense on where most of us watch cycling or any other sport during the year!
Spoiler 2x ESPN
1x ESPNU
1x ESPN America
1x Sporza
1x Sky
1x BTSport2
5. Name a sport event sponsored by Red Bull
A variety of answers in this one, and it was hard to find a winner, so both Red Bull Air Race and Red Bull Crashed Ice were the most given answers with 3 times!
Spoiler 2x X-Games
2x X-Fighters
2x Red Bull Cliff Diving
1x F1
1x Battle Ground New York
1x ABUHC National Championships
ShortsNL is the winner! Close call, as baseballlover lost his chances in the final answer.
Standings
After this win, ShortsNL jumps into first, with a nice lead over pylarz, as knockout dropped 3 places. But there's still a lot to go!
knockout, your call! |

Also, Air Race! Really! That event hasn't run since 2010! Surprised it wasn't X-Fighters, really am.

Glad to see other Dutchmen here, otherwise Crashed Ice wouldn't have stood a chance. Happy to see I came 3rd this round

Was a very interesting round, questions 1, 3, and 5 were very unpredictable indeed.
Also like Manx mentions it shows that the most frequent answer isn't necessarily the most correct one
In the end I just go for what comes into my head first, but you do always have to ask yourself, if that answer is likely to come up in other people's heads first as well
I really had to do some background checking on dopers, I went through this list: https://en.wikiped...s_in_sport
and had a shortlist of five, including Ronnie O'Sullivan and Claudia Pechstein.
Went for A-Rod because his case was recent, and it had publicity here in the Netherlands, while nobody follows baseball here at all, so I assumed it must have been big.
On that note, it's ironic to see Baseballlover answer with A-Rod and Baseball

Wow, that was bad. Really hate the question maker to make this so difficult
Made the wrong decision between Sky/Eurosport and thought X Games/X Fighters would be more popular...
Anyway, the new questions:
I'm with stupid - Round 4, game 12
TV
1. Name a talk show host ( NOT Oprah Winfrey)
2. Name a TV series with only 3 or less seasons (till now)
3. Name a bad film who has won an Academic Award (=oscar) as best film
4. Name a funny movie
5. Name an animated TV series
Answers again to FreitasPCM:
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Not meant in a negative way at all mate, I guess I should have said 'fitting' instead, but for me anything that is typical without necessarily being meant to be on purpose is considered ironic.
I can't tell if you gave baseball related answers because you think they would be right for the game, or because you love baseball, but the fact that the two coincide I find ironic in a funny way
