Wow, Its getting better and better. Not just for RNT but also for their financial back up Flavio Becca who is in a big controversial dispute in luxembourg (which also involves a high proportion of the lux. Government)

It's not really in the wrong thread, though. It's news, and it's June
L.L. Sanchez seems to be doing fine in Rabobank, though I'd like to see some better results from him there! |

LOL Talansky
Always one of the first to jump on and condemn anyone who is accused of doping, but when it's Lance he tweets that it's wrong to condemn him with "ZERO evidence".....now he's deleted those tweets
I thought Chris Sutton and Geraint Thomas' tweets supporting Lance were sad, but this is so much sadder

Specially coming from a guy who rides for Vaughters. I would expect everyone in that team to know who Armstrong is very well.

"Zero evidence"... We've got a saying here that says "there's no worst blind than the one who doesn't want to see", I guess this illustrates quite well. |

It seems that the Sky riders who are in the lance support club don't get as much hate as others. They're just "misunderstood".
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

Dont even get started.
Wiggins said something along the lines of "he changed our sport for the better"
Talansky said "zero evidence"....
And I dont know what Thomas and Sutton said.
No one is out to get you, or fellow Americans Baseball, all of this comes from stupid comments made by the riders, or pitiful attempts at support for a more than likely doper, although perceived by them to be 100% clean. It is more often than not Americans sticking up for Lance, so they are "mocked" more often.

Is the case still going strong against Lance? OR has it already cooled down? I haven't heard about it in a while... |

A little more about the Europcar - corticoids case : the investigation has been going on since... August 2011. According to the prosecutor, there have barely been any new elements since then. It's just L'Équipe that decided to have the story out.
Pathetic timing by them.

What happens is what happens with most cases like this. Nothing happens for a while, then the charges get quietly dropped, and we are all confused. Then it all starts up again some time later. |

10 current and former teammates are witnesses against him. There's absolutely no chance this gets dropped.

That's pathetic timing. I don't understand why they bring it out now, that's ridiculous. |

That was an investigation into whether or not Bruyneel and Armstrong had used taxpayer money to buy drugs. The testimony of teammates is irrelevant, they have no idea what money was used there, they're not accountants.
This is an investigation into whether or not there was doping on the team. Ten team members saying "Yes there was" pretty much seals it.
