So worked today, had to tape the Tour stage. Of course its bugged out, so I have to watch the Tour Primetime live (i.e. no fast forwarding thru the boring parts). In the very first minute of the Primetime show on NBC Sports Network, they tell us that the breakaway won today. What the hell. There is no point watching now! Like honestly, what were they thinking. I have no reason to watch apart from the final minutes.
To me this is worse than a friend telling you there is a huge twist at the end of a film.

They assume everybody watched it live, and think that anyone that watchs the primetime show is watching it for their "expert" analysis.
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime. Teach a man to cycle and he will realize fishing is stupid and boring.

Nah, more seriously, Campy wheels mixed with Shimano stuff ?
Also, I can't be sure, but it looks like the computer is on the wrong side of the stem.
Plus the whole bike shape looks weird, but that's not worth a cookie, is it ?
You´re close, though. The brake/shift levers are Shimano Di2, there´s a Campa battery mounted on the down tube but the derailleurs are mechanical.
That´s definatly a not-working mix.

She isn't half bad Quite over-styled though on the picture imo.
However I don't think she beats Lucy's amazing natural beauty

So here's a story:
I bought a Hyundai Getz fresh from the factory 3½ years ago. I don't use it much, but it's nice to get around to the family. So in those 3½ years, it's just been used for 38.000 km of travelling.
Sunday, it started making some weird sounds, and it now turns out that the motor has somehow suffered damage and needs to be replaced. Price: 4000 €. In comparison, that's 1/4 of the price I bought it for... The car has been checked once a year at the car shop. Guarantee ran out six months ago.

But that's real unlucky. And a huge price to pay, is it really worth it ? Or will you be buying something new / used car ?

Not sure yet. Still hoping I can talk some sense into the car shop guys and somehow convince them it can't be right. If that doesn't work, I'll try sending some mails directly to Hyundai. If that doesn't work, I'll complain on the internet
None of that is very likely to work, so I have to make a decision eventually. If the price really ends up being 4.000 €, I'll probably sell it, pay off the loan and buy a new car. Probably not opting for a new car this time... apparently not worth it. Motor self-destructs anyway. |

FML. That really sucks.
You could try to find an old used motor. And if the official dealer doesn't want to do this work, you might find a small shop outside the big cities which do it for half the money. |
