I've really no idea what you're jabbering on about.
Also you do realise that you can manually change the stats to your own taste? so instead of bitching why don't you get statting instead.
Looking into the results when you give stats? If yes, how did you figure out that Cavendish is not the best sprinter?
I would like to hear your arguments. Of course I have change it in my own.
We spent ages with you explaining this last year which you seem to have overlooked, about how Cav's sprint/acc ratio along with a great train makes him still one of the elite sprinters. .
You also realise that he has been ill this year and possibly may not have great form if he rides the Tour BUT his stats will still stay the same, which shows just how considerate we are.
Thatguy: Good point about Sagan acc and DH that will also be looked at

@Tafiolmo: Just ignore him. It's the same old story. I also don't agree with all stats, but since I know that I disagree due to my bias, I just change them and that's it. I don't go around here, claiming, how Tony should be the strongest TTer or how Gilbert should have 81 HI and 80 COB.

Porte is a better allrounder. You have to look where the results come from. Kittel beats Cav in alot of sprints, Porte beats Froome in hilly stages.
Froome has not been good in a single race or mountain stage in year. Him and Cavendish must first be in shape to the tour
Would you like to give Froome 78 in mountain now and after Tour 83 again? And Cavendish 78 sprint now and after Tour 82 again ? |

Paul We could ignore him but that would be cruel and I'm a kind-hearted soul.

I know you are. You're doing well in the db Team I might add. I was pretty sceptical at the start, but you're really handling this thread really nice.

It ain't easy statting a db and it's a daily routine almost but luckily with the rest of the stats team for backup I think we get most of them right but as always stats are always going to be subjective anyway.

Imo Arberg27 doesn't deserve to be ignored, it's funny to look his comments, he's frank!
Anyways i agree with him about Cavendish, you told many times that you don't base stats over few months but longer. Well, then Cavendish deserves 82 after that tour, i don't think he can be worse than this Greipel!
Another point: I think Nibali deserves at least more REC than Quintana (maybe interchange their 83 and 84). And 80 STA would be fair too. And Quintana 74 in TTR if Nibali is 76. Then 80 MON and 83 could be reasonable.
EDIT: I though Nibali had 80 MON and Quintana 75 TTR...but instead 81 and 73, they're honest.

It is Kittel and Greipel there it is. Kittel since 2014 and Greipel since 2015.
Since then they have only won 1 stage in the Tour.
Contrary to Cavendish there still wins many stages in tour.

I just got into my first offseason and I wanted to sign Eddy Merckx but I didn't find him anywhere??
You said you put in a lot of good free agents so I can't believe you missed him somehow. I mean he won the Tour FIVE times!! That's way more than Froome so I think he deserves really good stats.
He would be a great addition to my team so I hope you'll correct this mistake.
Just sign Pierre Latour and everything'll be fine. |

And Chaves 82?
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."
