Who does Amador think he is?
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

I will make a bold prediction and say Contador will TT and take lead back. 60 kms is large distance even for some established TT specialists, and when you add 2 hills it becomes even more difficult. That too after 1 and half week of difficult racing. Only established stage racer like Contador can thrive. Let's see.
This is what I predicted. Contador lost by 14 sec. But made my point!! |

Amador
Little chances he will hold onto that one, especially since the GC is so close apart from Conta and Aru. |

It ain't bold to predict that Contador will take 19 seconds on Aru in a 60 km long time trial. |

There was a typo. Missed win in between "will" and "TT". Bold was not taking pink from Aru, but winning TT. |

Good prediction if that was what you really meant to say

Van Den Broeck
What a performance from Contador today, too, but I had expected this of him. VDB on the other hand, I had hoped a top 10 but the way he did it, nice!
Now on to see if he can keep this 5th spot! |

Really weird overall right now. Should be an easy win for Contador now. Porte's completely gone. Can Amador hold that place int he high mountains?
Very good TT by Van den Broeck surprised me. he's right up there now. And surprising for me to see Hesjedal doing well in this TT, and moving up to 15th overall after losing 5 minutes that one day and having a horrible TTT.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

He is kind of reminding me of Rolland from last years Giro, if he rides smart he can hang onto a top 5 considering Amador should drop down and a few riders behind VDB will also drop time.

So, odds of Porte dropping out and König going full retard on one of these next mountain stages? |

Wiggo did it in 2012, Froome in 2013 and they tried to do it with Porte in 2015. Being dominant across the whole season must have taken its toil, obviously along with the crashes, timelosses etc. Seems like he just isnt made for it. If he still is in it, I expect a try on Daone or Mortirolo the following days, but I really doubt it.... |

Amador is amazing! The depth movistar have is simply incredible. Now if Astana wants to challenge maglia rosa again they really have play the game smarter. Not overly impressed by their tactics so far.

Yeah. Also, try to take 4 minutes back on Contador. You need a miracle to do that! |

Best thing for Porte to do with his future is leave Sky, I think a different environment with a team that actually is tactically strong (which sky isn't) would do him well, aim at 1 week stage races and go into GT's with less pressure

Had a free couple of stage wins they basically just gave up. Im also hoping they are playing it smarter in the big mountains, I wanna see a duel for the stage win. |
