Don't ask me how we got there, but interesting topic. Not to be taken too seriously, though
Okay so yes, time travel is actually going on all the time. The universe is one big time machine, with all those planets turning at different speeds etc |

Relativity!
Time is moving quicker at your head than at your feet. Upstairs quicker still. Someone 6'5 moves through time quicker than someone 4'11. And isn't that awesome!

Pretty. We should build a tower and put one at the foot and one on top.
Maybe in 1000 years, they'll differ a day.

Why build a tower and wait 1000 years. The spatial warping caused by a black hole will replicate the effect in fractions of a second.
Or alternatively you can accelerate something towards the speed of light and that will alter time.

I can't keep up. But haven't they already built a massive tower?
What happens if one person stands there 1000 years and someone else climbs up one day and down the next? What if we went to space?

But, but, but... We only know how to build a tower.
Okay, let's find that black hole (no racist jokes below, people, keep it clean) |

What if we send a tower to a black hole, but if the tower was moving at light speed?

Okay, let's find that black hole
Done https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_ho...l_evidence. Alternatively watch Interstellar which apparently (i hvn't seen it personally but NTdG says it's solid science) explains it pretty well

What we need is a time machine, so we can send the black hole and everything we need far enough back in time that we can see the result now.
Wait, don't we need to stand on the black hole to see if there is a time difference?

Wait, don't we need to stand on the black hole to see if there is a time difference?
So lets fire a black hole into another black hole or we could just move it upstairs
Not nessesarily. The time difference would be more clearly perceptable to those of the side moving slower which could be our side. We would just need to see into the affected area but then the visual light would be affected and it all gets very tricky to understand

I know Brilliant stuff.
Well, to be honest, I had no witty comeback anymore, so I opted for the easy way out.
Does that make me any less of a man? OH MY GOD!
End scene.
Wow. I'm weird tonight. Should probaably stop posting. I finally managed to shake off the spammer-image, don't want it back.

@TMM
Good point, but it's more fun to stand on the black hole.
@Ian
It's a (somewhat) relevant conversation so it doesn't count as spamming. I think...
Oh and in a way of unwittiness your comeback was witty.

Fuck everything that you stand for

Heart-warming
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Sorry, I am just confused by the last 4 posts, the first two seemed irrelevant to each other, for the irony mine was to, but is there something I'm missing with jandal's?
