Jarlison Pantano (Colombia) will probably ride for Trek next year.

Last night talked to him about it and he is really excited with the idea..

Well, actually I dont know him really...

Yesterday was Vuelta a Colombia stage 10, ITT in Medellín, I went there and anybody could talk to them, take pictures, ask them things etc..

Some of them are nicer than others, but in general, I could talk to many riders, took some pics and enjoy inside cycling... I think this is something you can hardly do in WT races... just that...

This news is a little old but still worth a mention. Brendan Canty signed as a stargaire for Drapac https://www.drapac...e-drapac/, just completed the Tour of Utah finishing in 53rd place playing the role of domestique for L.Norris who managed a top 10 overall in the GC. This will be a name you guys will know in a few seasons, only came into cycling from cross country running 2 years ago via my cycling crew in the Hells 500 guys, in his 1st road race he won one of our hardest amateur road races in the A grade Stratford to Dargo Classic (Climbing master class). He then was signed for a small domestic team 'Search2Retain' but even with the lack of climbing races/stages on our local scene he has managed to be signed by our only real Pro Conti outfit in Drapac. He is only 22 years old, weighs nothing and holds many many many local Strava KOM's on real big kid climbs in my part of Australia https://www.strava...es/391026.
Drapac while still holding a Oz licence are looking to base themselves in the U.S next season (Drapac is a property development company) and if anyone has not checked out how this outfit not only goes about cycling but how they treat there riders check them out! They have a great philosophy and help set up riders for a future outside of the sport.
Remember Brendan Canty's name!

Do I understand it well, that Tinkov says Boasson Hagen doped himself or is it just a joke and has he signed for him, what gives him the possibility to see his blood counts? Can someone translate it please Smile

Basso moved to Tinkoff-Saxo....Dont like the move.

The case with Hagen is:

Tinkov wants him on the team

Boasson Hagen wants to get paid well.

Tinkov doesnt wanna pay him what he wants.

Tinkov writes bad stuff (not blood passport) on twitter about Hagen, norweigans fires back on twitter at Tinkov. Tinkov writes stuff about blood passport.

End of story.

Poels will leave OPQS at the end of the season because he got an offer he can't refuse. My guess is Team Alonso. =D

BTW, from the same article I read, Serry extends.

I know that one, it's code for "I'm going to ride in the Sky-train for a big paycheck". It could mean BMC as well, but Sky seems more likely.

MartijnVDD
I can see that happening.

Sad to see Poels leave after a very strong season, hopefully he shows once again what he's got in La Vuelta.

A few rumours in various Dutch media today:

Bouet going to OPQS.
Poels is in talks with Sky, as predicted above.

And best of all...

Van Asbroeck is in talks with BMC. I wanted him to go to Lotto but a pro contract is top priority.

Rain Taaramae signs with Astana in a one year deal. Basically his last chance.

Ruben Fernandez signs with Movistar, joining another youngster in Soler.

Please Wout... don't go there!

Please don't let my arguably favourite rider of all go to the team I arguably dislike the most of all!

TimoCycling
@Shorts it's really likely he'll go there though, too bad for you Pfft. He'll be a helper whereas he could be a leader Sad...

I'm starting to get annoyed by lack of official news about new sponsorship and riders from Garmin. Not that I think their future is in trouble, but I would like to know more at this point. What will be the new name, colours, will riders from Canondale join etc.
