A tough stage which constantly goes up and down. It'll be tough to get through, so the break might just hold on.

That is why we put Jarlinson up front today in the 12 break which included Voeckler and Moreno.


After the solitary Cat. 2 climb (with 45km left) Talansky led the attacks and was followed by a bunch of favourites including Froome and Kelderman.

However, they were all brought back apart from the American, who went and caught the break.


Back to our side, we were caught out on the final climb and because of the downhill finish Robinson protected me.


There was a 1 minute gap over the summit and I went on the attack, while Jarlinson was dropped by not only the break but also the peloton.


Eventually Spilak won it ahead of Froome and Talansky. But, will the gap be enough for the overall lead to change?


I finished with Rolland in A1.


And Froomebot takes the lead! With 2 stages left before the Champs-Elysees, one of which is a time-trial, Kelderman needs to get back those 10 seconds and more tomorrow.

As the Tour draws to a close this is probably the last chance Kelderman has to regain the overall lead. Meanwhile, we are still hopeful of a stage win on this suitable stage.

We put Jarlinson in the break again because the finish today suits him. He's part of 7 up front.


Froome and Rolland attack with 37km to go. No response yet from Kelderman, who is taking a big risk.


With 20km left I am in the 55 man peloton along with Robinson and Virgilijus. The break will win, so a nice chance for us to claim the stage.


I paced and caused a split. Now only 37 in the peloton with 17km to go.


Jarlinson follows Moreno for the sprint. A good chance no doubt.


Not fancying his chances in the sprint Jungels attacks 5km from the line. Smart move, as I doubt anyone will be willing to waste energy in the chase.


And he takes the win for Saxo! It'll be between Moreno and the tired Pantano for 2nd place.


And unfortunately the Spaniard takes it. However, it's still a podium and our best result in this Tour.


We finish comfortably in the peloton, Grazhys 20th, Me 29th and Robinson 42nd.


And Froome holds the GC lead! Going into the final TT I think we can safely say that we have a TdF 2014 winner!

The last stage that can move the GC around. However, it seems we have a winner already unless Kelderman has an amazing day and Froome has a bad one.

We got off to a great start. Before I set off we had 6 in the Top 7 at the first time check. Unfortunately we weren't as good when it mattered.


I started off determined to finish the Tour on a high. I could rest tomorrow, but today was about emptying the tanks.


My time at the first checkpoint was good. 2nd, just 1 second behind Virgilijus.


I was determined to catch Jelle Vanendert and he came into my direct field of vision on the downhill.


I couldn't catch him by the 2nd check, where I was a very good 10th. 1'13 behind the lead.


I eventually couldn't catch my man but finished just 150 metres behind him, in provisional 11th at 1'55.


Meanhwile the GC didn't look close at all as Froome took almost another minute.

So that's the end of the Tour for the GC men, as they will parade around at the front of the peloton tomorrow. The sprinters have one more chance for glory on the Champs Elysees. See you there.

The final stage. The parade. All of the sprinters will be looking for one last victory here. Who will get it?

And so the peloton line up at start of the final stage of the 2014 Tour de France. It's been the closest and most exciting Tour in recent memory. We've had a French win on Bastille Day, we've had close battles in every classification, and we've had riders make the step up from prospects to stars. The jersey holders can relax, apart from the sprinters, as although we already have a winner, the chance of a lifetime awaits.


5 riders make the step into the breakaway and are the first to enter the Champs-Elysees. They know that they have no hope, but the TV time is more valuable than any other day.


All 9 Colombia riders are in the sprint train. Me and Grazhys are on some great form, while Jagoba and Jarlinson are also feeling great.


The train was going great, but of course we got blocked. Then, Robinson went too hard on the hill and through us into dissaray.


I went to the front and put all my energy into my turn. I got us up front with the other trains with a few kilometres to go.


Obviously our sprinters weren't good enough and we had to settle for a race to the minor places.


And what a win it was for Arnaud Demare! How long has it been since a Frenchman has won on the Champs-Elysses!? This has been a breakthrough Tour for him, and he is now among the World's best!


Jagoba had to settle for 17th.


While the curtains closed on my first Tour with a nice 35th.

And that's it. The podiums are down below with the Top 10 in each category, and that's the end of the Tour. It's been a great few weeks, and I'm glad to have been able to share it with you. I'll see you in Spain!
