Thanks for your quick answer. In the mean while, i fully removed pcm and installed again to make sure to have a 'clean install'. Then i installed the database and again it went wrong with v1.2.0. The same error. I downloaded with the download button. So it downloaded in my browser. The first files (of 16 gb) i downloaded via torrent. I downloaded version v1.2.0 again and i had the error again.
How can i download this version via torrent? I will try if that's a solution then.
I hope you can help me, because i have certainly no idea, because the rest went very well.
Edit: for full information, i have to mention that when i get the error i have three options: abort, retry and ignore. Retry doesn't help, it comes back immediately and abort obviously doesn't give me the installation. I didn't try ignore, because i thought that would be no solution.

Hi..What is the difference between DLC variant and database 2016?
Would be this steps correct?
1, Install basic game PCM 15
2, Install 2016 DB
3, Install 2016 DB update v1.1
4, Install DLC variant
5, Install 2016 DB update v 1.2?
Or what should be the correct installation order?

Hmm don't reinstall pcm as there is no way it's the problem... 
To download via torrent, go in the download section for 1.2 and don't click on download but on torrent instead. Before that, I would try to run the installer as an administrator.
Oh,and make sure you extracted all the files in another folder before trying.

2016DB contains all the features of the expansion pack, but with only a few variants for each race, as those take up quite a lot of space. Variant DLC is a pack of these additional variants, which will enhance the game even further, especially long career which can become quite repetitive otherwise.
The order of installation you mention is alright, but ideally install Patch 1.2 as well just after installing the game (this should be done automatically if you have a Steam version of the game). I would recommend also installing Variant DLC v1.1 and Variant DLC v1.2, which fix some bugs causing crashes in the original version.

Alright but I am still a little bit confused. May I just install 2016 DB with all its updates (1.1 and 1.2) at first and after that DLC variant with all its updates (1.1 and 1.2)? |

The order really doesn't matter, as they contain different files. Obviously, it would make more sense to install the db first and then the variants but it's your choice really.

Thank you so much, Matt! Extracting the files to another folder and running the installer as administrator worked perfect! I installed it now and started a race, working fine! Now started a career and the first few days worked great.
Compliments and many thanks to you! Also for the rest of te team for this wonderful database. I'm very happy to play this version.

My be a pro career keeps crashing when simulating the ukranian tt championship. Someone know what the problem could be? I have tried the weekly saves too, but they all crash the same place |

The issue is with the stage itself. To fix it, download and install Variant DLC v1.2, or look at the "Reported bugs and solutions" thread and use the solution for 27th June crash.

Installing the 1.2 + DLC 1.2 solves it (no new career required), or you can just download the files that were posted in the Solved Bugs thread, and put them in CM_Stages, if you don't want to download 3 gb worth of stuff.

I have a problem in the Pro cyclist mode. The Giro and the Vuelta are not accessible at rank IV but at rank V. Normally they must be accessible at rank IV.
Can anyone help me please ? |

Hi guys, I'm just looking for the .cdb-file (the database) if that is still used in PCM 2015, so i can use this for myself with an older version of PCM.
Is it possible for someone to upload just that file, so I don't have to download the whole install file? I would be really thankful. |

la fleche wallonne does not take place in my 2016 season in career mode with the most recent db. Has happened with two different teams now. The race is on the calendar and I can enter riders, but come the day and the sim doesn't stop and goes right through to the next race. When I check to see a result there was no race and last info is 2015 result!!!
Any ideas? |

Well no one has made them yet. As soon as someone does they will be added, otherwise, if you think they have been made and we missed them for some reason, you can point us to where they can be found.
