Yeah whatever there were some strange votes on Pesaro, I'm quite certain someone voted at least double, but not 100% sure.
I feel like it's already time to end the poll as there are some clear tendencies after 21 voters it's:
Pesaro | 10 votes | Richmond | 9 votes | Riga | 6 votes | Doha | 3 votes | Luxembourg | 2 votes | all other | 1 vote |
Based on this vote and on some dodgy votes I think it's not enough so I want you to make a second vote based on that result, only including the top 3 routes here. This time please PM me with a ranked list including Pesaro, Richmond and Riga. #1 will get 4 points #2 2 and #3 1. The route with the most points will hold the WC. You have time for this until tomorrow. |

Didn't see the vote if it helps clear it up
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Okay it's already quite clear that Richmond will be our WC host. 10 people sent something in, 6 had Richmond as their first priority and the other 4 still as 2nd priority.
I'll uploat the TTT route right away, so if there is some reporter having some time today to do that race quickly so I can post the last rankings update, that would be great. |

Regarding schedule: I'd like to see two-three italian autumn races added to the calendar on ct level. Thinking Giro dell Emilia, Tre Varesine, Piemonte?

Scouting Round 4
Download: https://www.mediafire.com/download/3u3...ng-R4.xlsx
This is the last round of scouting, so should only be used to sign riders. If you still have money left, it can be only used to pay talents wages. You can take a look at the U21 World Championships if you are still looking for talents. |

Research
Besides the scouting money, some teams put some money aside for research. Now you can decide how you want to spend that.
Download this file: https://www.mediafire.com/download/28z...earch.xlsx
The first thing to do is spliting your money into the one you will use for training and the one you will use for other stuff.
For that put your team ID, look into table "teams" incase you have forgotten it, into C2 in "money" and put a number in C5, that's the money you'll use for training. Don't add anything to C6. C5 will automatically be deducted from C2.
To spend your research budget go to tables "Training" and "Other".
Training
Additionally to the points a rider will naturaly gain you can add some through research. You can research on nine different training options. The result of research will be "packages" of stat gains. Researching for a specific rider type can bring you gains in all the stats that aren't 0 in the specific package type. One package will be used for only one rider. You can research a maximum of four packages of every type.
The numbers in cells C-O are the likeliness that you will get points for that specific stat.
To research on a rider type simply put the money you want to use next to it (columns P-S). You can spend money on as many rider types you like to. If you want to have several packages for one type of rider, so that you can spend it on several riders, also put numbers in the lines below "2,3,4".
The more you spend for one package the higher is the chance to get a lot of points. There is no minimum to be spent, but below 20 it can happen that there are no points at all awarded.
One gained point doesn't equal one stat point. The higher the stat, the more points have to be paid for the stat.
NEW: I already prevented previously to have riders to good/unbalanced through this, but now there are some clear guidelines to follow which should make it easier. A package cannot be spent on a rider if it makes him get to 83 or more in one of the main stats. A statpack that costed more than 100 can only be spent on riders with an average of 78,0 or more, if it fits the rider stats distribution. Meaning a climber package on a climber and so on and on an AVG 78+ climber can e.g. only a sprinter package which was max 100 paid for. The same counts for riders 76,0 or better with stat packs that costed more than 250.
However, I still reserve myself the right to intervene if a rider will become to strong to my liking.
Other
In other you have the option to research on 4 different fields. Potential is obvious, Potion of Youth will higher the age of decline, the fitness trainer increases the race days of a rider by 1-5 and the mediator will be of use in the renewals.
Except in mediator, you have to pay fixed prices to get a certain result. So for example getting a rider from pot 6 to 7 costs 700 this time. Getting an additional 5 race days for one rider costs 200. If you want to invest into one type there, put a number in the row below the "#". If you put a 1 somewhere you will have the option to use the specific research on exactly one rider, 2 for two riders. Each of those can only be used once on one rider. If you want e.g. the age of decline of a rider to grow from by 2 you'll need to buy the packages Year 1 and Year 2.
At the mediator you will have to invest a multiple of ten. In the lighter grey cell just write how much times ten you want to spend. A 5 will result in 50 spent.
I made potion of youth a little bit more expensive than lat season, but I don't think it's too much. It's also possible that some stuff will get more expensive next season. So I don't recommend to base your next season planning solely on the prices from this sheet.
Once you are done go to "PM" and copy the grey area in a table and send it to me. |

Riders Development
So the next task you have to do is to decide about the training program of your riders.
You'll do it with this file: https://www.mediafire.com/download/fsy...t2016.xlsx
In detail this is kind of complicated so I just give you a short idea about how stats are made. Behind each stat there is a number that is between 0 and 1000. 1000 will give the rider a stat of 85, 0 50. Which number is required for which stat can be seen in table 3. Which number the rider currently can be looked up in Stats.
Stats are divided in three types of stats, primary (MO,HI,TT,SP,CB), secondary (FL,PR,AC,FI) and tertiary (DH,ST,RS,RC) stats. Each of those has a maximum of points depending on the riders potential that the cyclist can reach in his career through natural progress.
Depending on the age, potential, scored race points, race days and if the rider is in a dev team, but also depending on the riders maximum every rider gets a certain amount of progress points. Usually 50% of those points go to primary stats, 30% to secondary and 20% to tertiary. That won't be happening if the rider reaches his max in one of those stattypes. Then he will only get what's required to do so.
By selecting the training program you can decide in which ratio they will be spent. There are 12 programs selectable. The numbers show you how much out of 100 points the specific stat would give you. The secondary and tertiary stats get on average less points per stat than the primary. That's why the numbers you see will be multiplied by 4/3 (secondary) and 2 (tertiary) before being added on top of the current stats. This guarantees an even development.
Still to balance things out in the long run, some stats won't be taken over 1:1.
----
Now, how does the file work? The first thing is as always, enter your Team ID in C2 in table Team. If you have forgotten it look it up in teams. If you go to Riders you will see all your contracted riders listed. Next to their stats, you see a number from 1 to 7. That's the training program the average calculator suggests, if you don't select a program by yourself this one will be taken.
In column Y you see the total progress points the cyclist gets. It is recommended to filter all 0,00 out to avoid having a too long list. column Z, AA and AB are the points the rider gets for primary, secondary and tertiary stats respectively.
If you have filtered out the riders that won't progress, you can start assigning training programs. Just put in W the number of the program you want, in X the name of the program will appear and the stats will switch immediately to how they'd look like if the rider trains with this specific program. To know more specific how much better the stats got, you can check out StatsNew. In RidersNew you will see your entire team with the new stats.
If you are done with everything go to table PM. Send me columns B-C.
------
I have slowed down the development progress compared to the previous seasons slightly. Still a lot of important stat improvements will happen.
Also I added a random possibility that riders that reached their development maximum get a few development points. |

Same here, but it's sad to see some of your riders develop whilst knowing you won't afford their wages in CT... I'm certainly overwhelmed by the step up riders like Wackermann, Zilioli or Pizzaballa are doing and happy we'll still be able to have a decent base to start off from. I'm positive about renewals and steals.

Theres my fav post of the year
Allianz seems to get a lot stronger with many top riders improving further.
Celesio looks ready to finally make the long expected jump towards the top teams with their talents reaching stats where they can score well.
Bunzl looks very solid with TJ, Dombo, Phinney and Yates brothers all improving!
Are all TTer collected by only a handfull of teams? It seems as if Gazprom and Bunzl have collected them all
It will be damn interesting to see all upgrades. Especially all those allrounders like Phinney or Jungels offer multiple intriguing upgrade paths.
Oh and with riders improving up to 80TT (possibly) it might be good to give Tony Martin his 82TT back. He's not as dominant as before anymore + TT randomness should justify it.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!
