Aru started off way too fast and has completely imploded. Gosh. 3 minutes down on Bertie!

You know when I said Aru was cooked a couple of days ago - I didn't think he would be that cooked.
Has anyone any idea how Cataldo is doing?

Could we see Van den Broeck and Amador move into to top three today? |

When Ion is getting caught out, Intxausti chasing stages and Visconti isnt durable anough, how great is it Amador is able to do such a TT!
Contador smashing Aru now, he should be more than 3' down on Contador now? Looks kinda rough for Astana today with Landa as well. |

Aru rides like he is close to falling off the saddle. Poor boy.

If Contador had started last, he would have probably caught both Aru and Landa, maybe even at the same moment.
He would have........ Holy, Astana is going to wake up early now.
Edit: He is not 3 minutes down on Contador - a little less than 2 only.

Yeah, Giro GPS is completely unreliable.

Really will be fascinating tomorrow to see if some of these chrono differences will be seen on the climbs.
Astana shows an interesting example. LLS very good but Cataldo, Landa and Aru a bit not quite so good. But I would say latter three have been climbing a lot better.
Lotto pair both did well today but I don't think they will be in final selections either. Same for Koenig and Amador. We will see.
