Now he's rid of di Luca and has Acqua e Sapone as sponsor. Don't know why he's complaining.

I wonder if that'll be supposed to mean they used magic potion to achieve their points and mountains jersey wins. You should ask:

But that was announced before today's stage cancellation, so maybe there's a chance he'll still be there ? |

Looking at profile of tomorrow's stage, I expect that there will not be much change in GC. Anyway its a sad way for Giro to end, considering that 1st week was very exciting. Having said that, I think Nibali is deserving winner.
Di Luca, I think, should be permanently banned. This is his 3rd time. Thankfully he did not win any stage. |

He always looks like a skeleton, was it even worse?
Shame that Giro has to end like this, but weather cant be ruled, maybe only in China.

Good for Cadel with the stage abandons and modifacations. Though would have loved to see today raced, but oh well.
Rohan Dennis summed up Di Luca's positive test well. "Life time ban"

Awesome stage yesterday, Nibali really owns Italy. Now with this stage cancelled I don't see anything keeping him from the win. I feel like skipping down the street and singing
And Di Luca tested positive for EPO? He really is old.

IMO Nibali is the deserved Winner of this Giro the only one who could have challenged him for Stage win today or tomorrow IMO was Betancur and he is way back in the GC.
If the 2 Stage would have been riden as they were planned:
- Nibali would have able anyway to manage the 4 min gap over Evans
- Uran would have probably have beaten Evans for the 2 place
- Scarponi and Niemiec would have stayed as they were
- Betancur would have achived 2 second places and had evertaken Majka for the White Jersey
- Di Luca i have no words for that moron....
- Gesink took the right decision. Whats the point of defending a 12 place??? He would have ended up losing 4 - 6 minutes on the top 10 riders anyway and finished in place 15 or somthing like that in the CG at the end.
The big Winners are without question Evans and Cavendish, with the stuff Pirazzi might be taking there is no way he would have lost KOM. |

Gesink just looks like that, he's not really sick. It's another cover for his aching mediocrity in the face of wild overblown hype, possibly.
Shame it was cancelled today. I don't see why they can't ride through 42" of snow and ice.

It was eleven more than necessary.

Gesink his sickness has affected his mind aswell considering he started with a timetrial bike yesterday
Anyway, I hopes he is smart and decide not to do le Tour. He should prepare for the Vuelta. It's the GT that suits him best as less hectic and better weather.

Canceling was probably the right call for rider safety. At the end of the day they are humans and can only push so far.
Also is anyone surprised by Di Luca? Anyone at all?

I'm surprised he's that stupid. Really.

I hope Blanco finally sees Gesink isnt a Grand Tour Contender anymore and send him as domestique to Tour to help Mollema or goes to Vuelta to help Kelderman. |

I don't think Kelderman will ride Vuelta.
2 GTs in a year might be a bit too much for him..
