And how is Stijn doing?
Stijn is injured, or recovering from an injury I think.
Calm start so far, with less one contender for the Tour after Wiggins's fall. |

Thanks for the replies
@PCM rulezz: I agree about the "good news". On the other hand, I think Froome came here as leader, not Wiggins, so it's Froome we have to watch out for mainly
@JuanMotr: Stijn's recovering on schedule, Poland is out of the question, Eneco Tour is more than probable
@FreitasPCM: Indeed, but it proves that even the flat/hilly stages can be very dangerous for GC contenders.
@sutty68: He's a team player
@ste_18: I hope so, too. His form is great, so he should be able to continue his job into the mountains!

Le Tour De France - Stage 4
Today was a mighty dangerous stage to lose time.
Today we had a strange day as the breakaway was reeled in more than 100km before the finish. The peloton acted very nervously and we all did our best to keep Jurgen at the front.
With 50km left to go, Rodriguez launched an attack, Wegmann followed. The latter would attack a couple more times in this stage.
In the first part of the race, Jurgen was mainly protected by Meersman. Now that the real hills were coming, Vanendert relieved him of the job and kept him excellently positioned.
But when Gilbert went, even Vanendert blew his legs in order to keep Jurgen at the front.
The peloton started to crumble and I sawVanendert dropping. That was my queue!
I pulled so hard I'm surprised my legs didn't fall off.
Going into the final 100m, I even accelerated and brought Jurgen to the finish line, with success, as there are some time gaps!
Of course, Gilbert won! He'll wear the yellow jersey tomorrow.

Fabian Wegmann attacked multiple times. This being his second day riding very offensive, he's the deserved winner of this prize.
The next three days are flat, so let's hope everything goes right and nobody loses time! |

Nope, but thanks anyway. I'm just happy the game didn't crash at my attempt to correct the jerseys (my computer tends to do things like that)
Thanks |

Fantastic job from Eric. VDB has to win this tour with a teammate like him
