@I_Mayo Come on, that was the joke, please don't react like this, doesn't make sense at all.
I was really close to bringing this up earlier and admit that Basso was better than I estimated, which he was, but I decided to wait a bit first.
Basso was better. Allright, happy now? Now don't attack me, I was just kidding.
You don't joke when someone abandons due to reasons like that.
Yes, please do respect the guy who disrepected all cycling fans taking us for retarded morons.

Well..cold weather prefers strong and not tall-thin guys.
Sad about Basso..Horner still has all goods with him. If he can keep up even in such weather |

That joke was funnier with Talansky in Dauphine.

Majka and Uran out of Top20... Horrible results for SKY and SAXO so far. |

Roche has won a stage and is 6th in the GC atm
I don't think it's that horrible for Saxo

I meant from those 2 riders. I was expecting way better, probably their teams too. |

He performed good in Giro this year. He is young and maybe cant do 2 GT in 1 year. All are not in prime like Nibali or Valverde. |

He was supposed to work for Wiggins and if it wasn't for the time he lost working for Wiggins he would finish really close to Nibali. |

Must have forgotten how to train hard and use marginal gains when he announced he'd leave Sky.
Pinot leading in a descent makes sense, when it's wet you might be annoyed by water projections from other riders, so it's better to lead, plus it forces opponents to take risks to overtake. Also I agree with the lesser speeds argument.
Just for the record, and to compare things that shouldn't be compared, the leaders went 8 % (1'14" slower than last year. Totally different conditions of course. |

what a day in the vuelta. Basso out. But then Ratto! OMG! And what happened to Valverde anyway? Nibali is closer to the Giro - Vuelta double! Only Horner/Valverde can do something now, as Purito is out! |
