Great prologue
I think young jersey is in the pocket with such a weak field |

@ste_18: Thanks, but it's only day one, much can still happen
@TomC: I agree, however, Jurgen is priority one. But we'll try to keep the jersey, of course.
@sutty68: Thanks!
@JuanMotr: The field for the young jersey is quite weak indeed. If everything goes right, he might just pick up the jersey. But in 21 stages, anything can happen! |

@Schleck96: Thank you!
@fcancellara & baggieboys32: I know, but I'm a total noob when it comes to editors. I really don't want to crash my game so I hope it doesn't bother you too much
@TheManxMissile: He has far from 85 on all stats However, he recently got his first 80-stat, so congratulations for him |

It's a good start of the Tour (both for VDB and Eric).
What version of the tour is this? 2012?
Winners never quit, quitters never win.
It's difficult not to be happy when you're surrounded by Belgians. - Mark Cavendish

Yes, it's the 2012 profile, I installed the Cyanide variant pack this season (2013) so I guess I'll have variants in 2014. |

Just replace the files, not the database
It is really easy, extract the archive attached and put the 'Cyanide' folder in Program Files, let it overwrite the original files

Le Tour De France - Stage 2
Welcome at the second stage of the Tour!
Important and only goal today: don't lose time with Jurgen.
I must say I really enjoy the Young Jersey, it's a real honor to wear it in this most important race in the world of cycling.
The first attackers in Tour De France 2013 were Gautier, Bardet and Sprick. They were to be joined by two other Frenchmen to form a full French breakaway group.
Sagan collected the most remaining points at the Supersprint. Clearly, he's going for Green.
Jurgen stayed good at the front as the peloton started to rip up.
Two late attackers were able to hold off the peloton, Tony Martin and Igor Anton.
While Meersman, Jelle Vanendert and Jurgen formed some kind of a sprint train, to get Jurgen at the front as good as possible, I just picked last year's winner Andy Schleck's wheel. It turned out he wanted a stage win and he took me along in his slipstream, giving me a 5th place!

Combativity Award
The first Combativity Award goes to the first attacker in this Tour: 22 year old Romain Bardet, congratulations!
Tomorrow is a flat stage. See you then! |

Le Tour De France - Stage 3
Today was a flat stage.
Van De Walle tried to get into the breakaway but was unsuccessful.
Goss picked up most of the remaining points.
Some unfortunate news: Bradley Wiggins took a fall and was unable to return to the peloton. It's now clear that Sky is putting all their eggs in one basket -Froome.
As the pack was about to catch the breakaway, Sylvain Chavanel was the only one who gave it one last try.
But it was no use, the sprint was won by Mark Cavendish!
Combativity Award
The Combativity Award goes to Sylvain Chavanel. In my opinion, it was between Chavanel and Wegmann, the Frenchman has won, of course.
See you tomorrow! |

Interesting and a well written story, i read through all the pages now, and you got one more follower. Btw, next year, it might be a good idea to give Eric a leading role in the Giro? or Vuelta?

I'm glad you're following now, markene2!
We'll have to wait for the schedule of next season but there is a big possibility Eric might get a leading role in the Giro/Vuelta. |

good start of the tour, too bad for Wiggins But at the other hand it's a man less to fight for the GC so it's "good news" for VDB
